Manage and oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project.

To plan, develop and organize the construction effort to formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget and to implement the execution of that plan.

Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all the team members.

Review man-hours and duration forecasts to completion for construction and man-hours

Monitor construction productivity and schedule performance and investigate reasons for less than satisfactory performance. Provide recommendations and institute measures for improvement.

To Company Safety Standards and promote safety culture among the ranks through out the Company.

To ensure that the site activities are executed in accordance with specifications budget and time schedules

Project planning, coordination, supervision, monitoring the project works

Responsible for all inspection activities are carried out

Monitor & supervise team to ensure compliance of work

Submission of summary of daily activity

Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors

Requirements:

PE Board/BCA accredited Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in building / civil construction projects

Preferably with BTO / LTA project reference

Job Description

• Liaise and assist GM in responding to request for quotation from prospective clients
• Manage and coordinate preparation of pre-tender documentation and response to tender clarifications and amendments involved and attends tender meetings leading to award of tenders
• Prepare contract documents for control and implementation of contract administration and reviews commercial aspects of contract and agreement with clients sub-contractors
• Assist the Project Managers in preparation of monthly progress payment and ensure successful claim of progress payment
• Attend site meetings with Project Staff as and when required
• Assist Project Managers in preparation of variation order and keep comprehensive record on work alteration and design amendment etc.
• Liaise closely with Main Contractor and Client’s Q/S in regard to claims and negotiation of claims and finalization of account
• Prepared budgets and cash flow projection in conjunction with GM, Directors, Project Managers and Financial Controller
• Assist in negotiation of sub-contractors packages and preparation of sub-contractor or supplier agreement letters
• Analyze scope of work in project and contract for effective contract administration in conjunction with interpretation of architectural and shop drawings
• Monitor Project cost and prepare general financial administration
• Report example Cost history for contract negotiation and budget
• Other Ad-hoc duties

Job Requirements

• Possess excellent interpersonal skills/people management skills, good communication skills and negotiation skills and possess strong leadership qualities
• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.
• Candidates with QS or Contracts background is advantageous.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At Least 5 years of Experience in Building, n architectural works
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project, ERp and AutoCAD
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice

Call Centre - Survey Experience Officer (Establishment)

Salary: S$3,000 ($2,650+$350 transport allowance)

Work duration: 6 mths (Renewable depending on performance and project)

Working hours: 5 days work per week Monday – Sunday (Based on duty roster). Up to 44 hours per week.

Work location: Clarke Quay / Novena (work in office)

The Survey Experience Officer (Establishment) is responsible for collection of employee listing information from company POC (Point of Contact) to submit the Occupational Employment (OED) registry.

He / She is also the single, primary source of contact to perform survey data collection from these POCs on the quarterly or ad-hoc surveys that the company is selected to participate.

The incumbent should possess skills in rapport building with the company POC in order to build a professional and friendly working relationship with the POC to collect all survey data.

Collection Methods:

1. Via outbound call activity

2. Via field visits out to company addresses

Data submission:

1. The incumbent is expected to perform daily updates of call outcomes using Excel files assigned to them

2. The incumbent must also submit the survey data collection details into the system and submit the completed survey

3. During field visits, incumbent must also assist the respondents to complete the surveys online / manual collection and guide the respondents if the respondents need necessary guidance

Job scope:

1. Adhere to required Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in operations

2. Work closely with fellow team-mates, assigned team leads on the survey progress for each of the companies allocated to this

3. Update accurately the daily operations reports so that performance can be accountable

4. Perform necessary admin work and support as and when required to do so, including rectifying errors committed during collection when required by stake holders from the ministry

5. Adhere to key in case notes in ministry in house system provided for each case with each call outcome / updates on assigned cases
