Job Duties

• Manage and execute project in cost effective, on time delivery with quality standards to meets client expectations;
• Managing the projects in accordance to our Company’s ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Standards and contractual requirements;
• Pre and post-contract stages from vetting tender documents, organizing tender activities as well as settlement of accounts with owner, sub-contracts / suppliers;
• The development and implementation of project management plans through the provision of project scheduling, monitoring, reporting and forecasting, ensure that safety regulations are complied;
• Providing and preparing all scheduling, budgeting and specification for the project work;
• Check drawings and quantities and ensure that the calculations are accurate for the project implementation;

• Check on the progress claim submitted by the sub-contractors;
• Monitor, track, report project progress, supervise Engineers, Supervisor, Technicians and sub-contractors’ on site;

Job Requirement

• Recognised Degree by BCA in Civil Engineering.
• 10 years’ experience in Civil Engineering Projects, especially in Marine Construction of Jetty, Wharf, Harbour, Dredging, etc.

Reporting to the BMS Project Manager, the candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required; such as, submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc., are complete, ready, and approved for the Building Management Systems (BMS) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working with the Senior Commissioning Manager and BMS Project Manager who are responsible for the BMS Subcontractor operations and installation for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.

It is expected the candidate will be a very detailed individual with previous experience working as a MEP Project Engineer on data center projects and or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating approved design documents and ensuring installed work in the field comply with such documents.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte.
