Job Description - Quality Control

· Conduct onsite in-process inspections or periodic site/factory quality surveillance inspections.

· Monitor and verify site execution works whether the established work procedures, inspections and approved submittals are being followed accordingly.

· Identity, record and highlight to Project Manager of any identified non-conformances or potential quality issues or risks.

· Issue and monitor closure of Quality Observation Reports (QARs), Internal Non-conformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective/Preventive Action Requests (C/PARs)

· Verify the implementation of solutions and control further works or processes until the non-conformities or deficiencies have been resolved.

· Conduct internal inspection of mock-up unit, CONQUAS/QM pre-assessment and pre-handing over inspection.

· Preparation of periodic QA/QC Reports, maintenance of quality records and any necessary QA/QC documentations at project sites.

1. Liaise and assist sales and marketing team and ensure that all the team job scope are being performed;

2. ⁠ Liaise and oversee the sales and marketing team duties and responsibilities;

3. ⁠Prepare daily meeting with the team to monitor and keep updated about the job status, job outstanding, Client feedbacks and etc.;

4. Oversee and check quotations, proposals, attend site visits;

5. Counter check all the out-going quotations (Projects and Maintenance) and monitor each status from your Sales team;

6. Sales enquiries, meet the clients, and do follow ups to all quotations and proposals submitted to clients;

7. Prepare progress claims and check both Project and maintenance before submitted;

8. Liaise to sales team and ensure that all Progress Claims are submitted on or before the required due date both for Projects and Maintenance;

9. Attend tender site interview and ensure that presentation to the client is well prepared and knows the scope of work;

10. Check all Tender documents before submission to Clients (Management need to see your approval before submission;

11. Liaise with principal clients and suppliers from overseas;

12. Improves products/services offers of the Company by doing market research and propose new products/services development and perform innovative future action plans;

13. Responsible to all Adhoc duties requirement from Sales and Marketing Department;

14. Report to Director and submit monthly reports and other required documents;

15. Check and ensure that all awarded projects received LOA before commencing the job. Discuss with the team the necessary requirements;

16. Oversee all incoming and outgoing enquiries direct/indirect and ensure that each one is handled in a proper, professionalism and efficient manner;

17. Prepare and submit project claims as per submission schedules;

18. Any other Adhoc duties assigned by Manager/Director.

Job Descriptions:

• Manage and prepare the measurements and cost estimates for the construction projects from initial calculations to the final accounts.
• Prepare contract documents in accordance to the regulations.
• Prepare cost analysis and monitor project overruns to ensure the objectives of the project is achieved.
• Access payment and variation works to subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Communicate with the management, sub-contractors and keeps track of the progression of the sub-contract.
• Any other adhoc tasks assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
• Entry level or with 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in LTA project, or similar scale, complexity and nature of work will be advantages.
• Have done Additions and Alteration projects will be advantages.
• Location: West.
