We are seeking a highly motivated cloud & data-savvy Solution Sales specialist with experience driving customer engagement from qualification, solution development (together with a solution architect) and proposal pitching. The Customer Solutions Lead reports into the Head of DXG Customer Solutions and carries TCV (Total Contract Value) & Revenue targets for his defined scope.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Account Managers in Singapore to qualify customer needs, design proposals and follow opportunities until closure
• Contribute to all business and technical discussions with customers and partners to define best solutions to address customer challenges
• Define engagement strategy with customer to solve their specific challenges
• Design Cloud & Data solutions that address client business problems and meet their technical requirements
• Generate new leads by approaching new prospects (together with Account Managers) and promoting FPT Software Cloud, Data and DX Consultancy services
• Lead and coordinate complex RFP proposals with other team members and other FPT Business Units
• Deliver trainings to local Account Managers and Pre-Sales teams about our Digital Transformation portfolio (Cloud, Data, DX Consultancy services)
• Responsible for keeping track of and reporting customer opportunities and actions in CRM tool

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years experience in a Pre-sales role in the technology sector
• Proven experience interacting with C-level executives. Able to qualify business and technical challenges and articulate value proposition
• Strong knowledge of Cloud, Data, Digital Transformation and ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Creative problem solver, able to handle stressful situations with professionalism.
• Excellent listening and presentation skills.
• Cloud and data platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, AliCloud, Oracle, IBM, Snowflake, Databricks, Dataiku) are a big plus

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate site activities and submission documents.
• Liaise with and manage project stakeholders (customers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors) to ensure project requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
• Develop detailed work schedules, and plan manpower and resources.
• Interpret engineering drawings and perform basic engineering calculations.
• Oversee the safety management system on site.
• Monitor and report on project progress.
• Understand and apply Singapore standards or Codes of Practice.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Construction/Industrial Engineering (open to candidates without experience).
• Experience in ACMV design, piping, and structural support.
• Familiarity with manufacturing plant construction, Data Centre fit-out works, etc.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and interact effectively with project members and managers

Job Responsibilities:•

• Immediate handling of incoming purchase orders from vessels
• Send orders to relevant suppliers for quotations
• To negotiate prices and order follow up with suppliers
• Evaluate incoming quotations and confirm to choose supplier after approval by Superintendent/Technical Manager or higher authority
• To liaise closely with warehouse, suppliers and to ensure on time delivery
• Give forwarding instructions to supplier
• Keep the vessels and Vessel Managers updated about deliveries
• Contact with vessel’s port agents
• Custom clearance
• Make necessary formal bookings for service and repairs based on the practical arrangements made by the Vessel Manager
• Maintain and update supplier’s database on various platform.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma holder in related field/discipline
• Self-motivated individual with minimum 3 years experience in marine industries is a MUST
• Possess initiative and able to multi-tasks
• Resourceful with good negotiation skills
• Tech Savvy, adaptable to working with ERP
