Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented, motivated planner with a strong background in parts planning and purchasing in a mix product of high-volume environment. This role manages supply, planning, procurement, and performance for one or more product lines, coordinating across teams to meet demand and supply objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execute and optimize supply plans; update planning system data, manage product lifecycle, and address Engineering Change Requests;
• Oversee key metrics (backlog, fill rate, inventory turn, etc.) and analyze forecasts to develop weekly supply plans;
• Address product backlogs and fill rates, working cross-functionally to resolve issues;
• Manage procurement, repair cycles, supplier communication, and ensure order reconciliation;
• Identify and implement system enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders and IT.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required;
• 3+ years in supply/demand planning, supplier management, and ERP systems;
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices, strong analytical and leadership skills;
• Effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills within matrix organizations;
• Strategic and tactical thinking, attention to detail, and strong numerical skills;
• Proven cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments;
• Excel proficiency; experience with Business Objects, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

· Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders and requests for quotes fromsuppliers

· Responsible for procurement business system data input

· Responsible for coordinating subcontract material with sub-tier suppliers and
subsequent deliveries to factories

· Review and analyse quotes from vendors. Coordinate purchasing activities with
suppliers, manufacturing, planning and engineering departments to acquire inventories in a cost effective and timely manner

· Responsible for negotiating with vendors to ensure Company is always in an
advantageous position

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of database information in Purchasing module

· Responsible for reconciling and managing company inventory movement

· Responsible for all escalations and very best outcome for all material requirements within responsible scope to meet OTD and customer commitments

· Monitor the costs, schedules and scopes of assigned subcontracts to negotiate highestquality at best value

· Interact closely with suppliers and Engineer/QA to resolve quality issues

· Any other task assigned by the Company

Requirements:

· Diploma/ Degree in Electronic/ Engineering/ Manufacturing related

· Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification

· Prior experience in purchasing field for a minimum of 4 years in an electronics
manufacturing environment

· ERP and MRP knowledge is required

· Good communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills.

· Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with suppliers,
stakeholders and colleagues.

· Possess skills to be creative, a problem solver, a good collaborator across functional
areas, good teamwork abilities.

· Experience in the logistic, commercial and tactical aspects of supply chain
requirements.

System Support

1. Evaluate all requisitions, particularly engineering change implementations to minimize excess and obsolete inventory

2. Maintain and update databases of available suppliers and prices information

3. Negotiate prices and contract agreements for favorable deals, to achieve a significant favorable purchase price variance

4. Approve bills for payment as authorized by Materials Manager

5. Maintain purchasing documentation system to comply with ISO requirements

Operational support

6. Qualify vendors and maintains close surveillance on their performance in relation to their products conformance to our specifications and quality standards, services provided and pricing. If necessary, survey vendors’ facilities and inspects products to ensure our requirements are met.

7. Keep abreast on supply chain issues affecting the line (materials shortage)

8. Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve lines issues due to supply chain

9. Work closely with QA & Engineering and liaise with affected suppliers to resolve line issues due to components be it quality or drawing issues etc.

10. Liaise between suppliers and plant on a regular basis

11. Respond to any ad hoc demand requirements from customer when their unit in the WIP
