Job Description

· Provide L1 and L2 on-site / remote IT support and fulfil service requests for CLIENT employees in all CLIENT locations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform installation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure (Hardware and Software) including remote troubleshooting.
• Provide day-to-day tech support for the clients.
• Help to add hardware and other applications as required for the clients.
• Support of replacement and upgrade for computer & server equipment.
• Monitoring and maintenance of the System (hardware and software)
• Respond to all incident / service calls to troubleshoot and resolve incidents including basic repairs or parts replacements
• Escalate when necessary in accordance to escalation matrix
• Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system hardware and all computer-based systems.
• Coordinate and work with third-party supplier or other contractors to identify the causes of issues e.g. hardware, software, network problems and etc. that may affect the proper functioning of the System.
• Liaise and work closely with customer to address service concerns and to solve technical problems.
• Work with technical team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
• Perform Install / Move / Add / Change (IMAC) activities as tasked
• Ensure all material are properly documented and handed over during shift changes

Skills:

• Basic Network troubleshooting on Desktop/Laptop (LAN/Wi-Fi)
• Basic Knowledge on Active Directory
• Basic knowledge on Switches/Servers
• Image deployment (Laptop/Desktop)

Job Description:

• PC setup & troubleshooting, application setup & configurations for end-users
• Oversee the IT infrastructure and equipment which includes Print server, Desktops, Laptops & windows workstations
• Managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IP Addressing, Group Policy
• SCCM Asset Management, WSUS Server & Patch Management
• Assist in maintenance of anti-virus platform for servers and client PCs, conduct test and deployment of Microsoft patches for servers and clients
• Review and monitor the IT infrastructure to ensure that it is secure and optimized
• Support network & server of the company, plan, recommend and implement improvement to the IT infrastructure of the company
• Perform Backup & Restoration
• File Server Access Management, Firewall and Security Administration
• Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology
• Preferably have 3 years of experience in IT operations, PC Support & Troubleshooting, infrastructure, network administration and end user support.
• Experience in Desktop, Laptop Support & Troubleshooting, O/s & Application configuration
• Experience in Windows10, Routers, Firewall, Switches, Wireless communication, WAN, FTP, Proxy
• Willing to perform Overtime

Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment servicing, trouble-shooting, repair, upgrade
• Prepare test/service report
• Check materials to ensure meeting required specifications
• Identify suitable replacements for obsolete parts
• Perform calibration, preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment
• Support set-up, installation & training of new tools/equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• At least one year experience in relevant or related field
• Technical knowledge and hands-on skills on monitoring, troubleshooting, servicing, maintenance and tool recovery
• Able to interpret schematic diagrams
• Good communication and interpersonal skill
• Proactive with good initiatives, problem solving skill and analytical ability
• Able to work under pressure

• Receive Service Request / Incident through phone, email and Helpdesk Ticketing tool.
• Basic technical support at the End User Computing (EUC) and network level: PC, iPad, Laptop, WAN and LAN.
• User Account Management (Add, Delete and Change) and follow Change Management processes.
• Escalate to Level 2 engineer if the issue not resolved.
• Remotely assist users with support needs.
• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
