REQUIREMENTS

· Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic /Electromechanical) or equivalent

· At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position. Non experienced candidates whom are keen are welcome to apply as well.

· Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical / Automotive or equivalent

• Conduct acceptance test of equipment and systems with customers or customer representatives.
• Carry out repair/adjustment if required.
• Provide service/investigation reports where applicable.
• Prepare and submit travel report on work progress as well as completion of project.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with working hands on experience in the diesel engine/generator industry especially with experience with engine automation or PLC/SCADA.
• Experience in troubleshooting, project handling/execution, servicing and commissioning will be preferred.
• Communicates effectively, has a strong initiative and ability to work under pressure.
• Possess logical and analytical skills
• Highly independent, and an excellent team player.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake independently the assignments such as commissioning, installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting and repair/overhaul of MTU electrical/electronics products and its associated equipment at MTU workshop or at site in accordance with MTU manuals and/or specific given instructions.
• Capable of resolving technical matters and completing services according to the works order for acceptance by the customers. Provide service/investigation reports where applicable.
• Perform function tests on electronic equipment and carry out repair/adjustment if required.
• Conduct acceptance test of equipment and systems with customers or customer representatives. Advise/recommend repair works where necessary.
• Prepare and submit travel report on work progress as well as completion of project.
• Observes the safety regulations of WSHA and guidelines/risk assessment from the company's WSH Committee when performing the work at-site or at customer's premises.
• Work assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with at least 1 year’s working experience.
• Strong drive and initiative with the ability to work under pressure and able to work independently, good troubleshooting and analytical skill.
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skill.
• Willing to travel overseas
• Preferably a valid class 3 license.
