Patient Service Associates (PSA) provide frontline counter services to patients. PSA is to assist patients by checking patient’s service/order requirement, managing patient queues, handle basic enquiries (e.g. appointment booking) and to provide administrative support to medical technologists and radiographers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for reception of all appointment and walk-in patients at the Diagnostics counters
• Ensure 2 patients’ identifiers (NRIC & Name) are verified for all patients when handling patient registration electronically (i.e. EPIC, LIS, RIS, POS, BSS.) and verifying tests ordered by doctors.
• Accurate appointment scheduling / booking and registration for eligible mammogram patients via Breast Screen Singapore (BSS) portal
• Registration of mammogram patients are done accurately via BSS portal, including updating of patient particulars such as mailing address and contact number.
• Relevant instructions are communicated effectively to patients prior to their procedures/tests, chaperon patients to changing or counselling room where applicable.
• Handle enquiries and provide prompt and courteous service delivery to internal and external customers.
• Responsible for payment collection when assigned to cashier duties and ensure tally of end-of day sales with cash settlement and other transaction records.
• Ensure Medisave Authorization Forms (MAF) are filled in accurately with patients’ endorsement and approval, and all Medisave transactions are captured accurately in EASIPOS
• Accurate application of promotions and discount vouchers appropriately and to validate its utilization via EASIPOS
• Support administrative function to centre in-charge including but not limited to dispatching of lab and x-ray reports, proper record and documentation of courier services.

Overview

Admission and Service Centre (AASC) has a team of financial counsellors who provides timely and accurate financial estimates information on patient’s hospital stay based on treatment or procedure. • To ensure the original hardcopy of MCAF M/NEFR forms are submitted and send back to MOHH timely.
• To ensure SAP system is updated whenever these forms are consented by patient.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping of the reception areas and workstations to maintain a professional image and neatness of the workplace.

• Ensure all e-BARFs and merge request cases are raised timely and correctly within the department.

Senior / Customer Service Associate, Group Contact Centre

As part of Group Contact Centre, the Senior / Customer Service Associate's key role is to provide Contact Centre services, such as handling of general enquiries, appointment scheduling requests, to patients and the public. You are expected to work in a fast-paced environment and be challenged with navigating complex healthcare needs. Reporting to the Institution Lead, Group Contact Centre, you will:

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver excellent customer service to callers by understanding caller's needs
• Provide timely, accurate and appropriate information and assistance to address caller's enquiries
• Book or reschedule appointments based on caller's request
• Handle any other hotline administrative functions such as handling of emails, referral requests and emergency activation
• Coordinate and liaise with other departments in the institutions to ensure requests are followed up and resolved

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any discipline. (Fresh graduates are welcomed)
• Preferably 1 to 2 years’ experience in healthcare industry, contact centre environment and/or service related industry
• Able to communicate fluently in English and Mother Tongue
• Able to read and write fluently in English
• Pleasant and cheerful personality with good interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt to fast pace working environment
• Computer literate and good typing skills
• Able to multi-task and work under a stressful environment
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including PHs and weekend
