Who We Need

The Alvernia Wellness Centre Patient Service Officer / Assistant is responsible for assisting the Manager in the supervision of the Alvernia Wellness Centre. The role involves the coordination of screening processes and the administrative duties of the department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Programme Planning and Implementation

• Develop and implement outreach plan to seniors.
• Develop and implement annual calendar plan of social and health activities for seniors.

3. Volunteer Development

• Establish networks with local community-based services/ resources, such as grassroots, social services, corporate organisations and schools, to engage volunteers to help run or assist in the programmes, start income-generating activities, conduct outreach efforts etc., to match the needs of seniors.
• Recruit, interview and screen potential volunteers.
• Provide and coordinate orientation of volunteers to their assigned role and the mission and objectives of the centre.
