We are looking for experienced full-time desktop engineer to provide Desktop support to an MNC in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
• Face to Face IT support with excellent communication skills
• Hardware installation, movement and de-installation;
• Diagnosing problems concerning personal hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, scanners etc.);
• Maintain, analyze and solve end user computing problems both hardware and software;
• System and application changes testing, scripts preparation in MS Windows 10 and MS Office 365 environment;
• Install and set up equipment, cables, outlets and all other hardware required for implementing IMAC's.
• Working knowledge of networking and AV but looking to further develop skillsets in this area.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 Years’ experience in an IT Support Role
• Degree holder – computer science preferred
• Mastery in Windows 10 and MS Office 365 environment with some knowledge of Windows server
• Hardware problems diagnose skills (PC's, laptops, printers etc.);
• Knowledge of remote administrative tools in Windows 10 environment
• Knowledge of LAN, Wireless and VPN technologies to perform basic troubleshooting;
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange;
• Familiar with printer and multi-functional devices connected to a network;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and develop in the networking and AV technology
• With a Positive attitude, helpful can do attitude and ability to work with others;
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written, service delivery orientation;
• Ability to cope with stress and workload;
• Willing to travel to Pioneer daily and occasionally to other parts of SIngapore (there is a company transport pickup from Joon Koon MRT)
• Singaporean and PR preferred.
