· Identify and develop potential business opportunities;

Job summary:

We are looking for a dedicated accounts executive for general ledger to be responsible for maintaining and organizing financial records, ensuring data accuracy, and checking figures for accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:

* Responsible for period-end closing activities such as GL Journal entries, bank reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.

* Prepare and perform review on Balance Sheet and P&L monthly schedules.

* Prepare monthly reporting package for group consolidation purpose.

* Tax reporting and compliance (e.g. GST/WHT/Corporate Income Tax).

* Support internal audit, statutory audit and related matters.

* Prepare monthly financial & management reports and the related analysis and commentaries.

* Support the preparation of the yearly budget. Perform financial analysis of actual results against budget/forecast.

* Responsible and maintain Fixed Asset Register and Inventory Register.

* Establish and enforce policies and procedures; provide trends and forecasts; explain processes and techniques; recommend actions.

* Improve on current processes, procedure and internal controls as required.

* Handle ad hoc assignments and projects as and when required

Requirements:

* Minimum NITEC in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum 2-3 years of general ledger experience.

* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Experience in financial analysis for business segments will be an added advantage.

* A good problem solver.

* Good communication skills.

* Committed, responsible, independent and team player.

* Able to work independently.

* Know how to prioritise and react according to the urgency of things.

* Willing to learn and positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Committed to doing eveything to prevent injuries and to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• To support the OSH program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations.
• Responsible for Order Processing support (order processing, customer order verifications & follow up with customer orders)
• Prepare orders for Planner and follow-up with customers when there are incomplete information or documents
• Coordination with booking agents or ship operators for status of supply schedule / vessel loading
• Collaborate closely with the planner to ensure timely supply and corrdination.
• Tally overall order received at the end of day to ensure all order is not missed out.
• Ensure all delivery orders are received (arrange dispatch) once job completed and forward to customers as proof of delivery
• Closing of job orders for billing once job is completed.
• Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solution and alternatives
• Foster long-term, sustainable relationships with customers by maintaining open, transparent and interactive communication, thereby building trust and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a consistently high standard of customer service by addressing inquiries, booking trials, resolving issues, and fostering positive customer interactions.
2. Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a fast-paced company environment, demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a high level of performance.
3. Communication and Transparency: Ensuring consistent and aligned communications with the company’s core values across all channels. Proactively communicate any issues or potential concerns to the management team to foster a collaborative and responsive approach.
4. Long-Term Growth Opportunities: Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth, actively seeking and seizing opportunities for advancement within the company.
5. Team Collaboration: Support the Centre Team and Director, Manager, or Assistant Manager in achieving sustained growth by fostering teamwork, enhancing customer service, and minimizing student turnover.
6. Operational Performance: Achieve high-calibre responses from clientele Email/WhatsApp inquiries and phone calls, within internally assigned Service-Level Agreements (SLAs). Assist and attend to requests/inquiries from internal stakeholders (including teachers), within internally assigned SLAs. Ensure smooth opening, operating, and closing procedures for the assigned centre(s). Assist with regular centre, studio, and inventory audits as well as any other ad-hoc operationally related tasks.
7. Customer Satisfaction: Boost customer happiness and satisfaction, measured by net promoter scores (NPS) scores.
8. Ad-Hoc: Performing and fulfilling additional duties as assigned by the Management.

Hiring Criteria:

• At least 2-3 years’ experience in the customer service field
• Must be available to work retail hours and on both weekends
• Strong sense of adaptability and leadership
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English (Being bilingual/trilingual would be an advantage)
• Goal-driven individuals with the ability to focus and prioritise tasks that drive the growth of the centre
• Positive, extroverted, and outgoing personality with the passion for customer service
