Job Purpose

Accountabilities

I) Customers

External Customers

- Maintain effective relationship with assigned portfolio by remaining informed about customers’ business priorities and needs within the region.

- To drive and manage profitable growth with the assigned customer portfolio.

- Deliver services and solutions to customer that meet budget, quality and agreed service level.

- Drives/support development of new/innovation service or value creation as part of continuous development to meet customer’s needs.

- Respond and solve customer enquiries/complaints in a timely and responsive manner.

- Responsible for establishing customer profiles and customer needs.

- Effectively conduct Annual/Quarterly/Monthly Business Review with customers.

Internal Customers

- Develop Customer Account Plan and/or Win Plan that can be adapted to meet customer needs and business fit.

- Work with Product, Key account managers, Bid Management team in the region to communicate and align customer account/win plan for RFIs / RFQs.

- Close engagement with internal stakeholder by sharing customer’s buying behaviours and competitor’s intelligence.

II) Stakeholders

External Stakeholders

- Identify and develop relationship with Customer contacts, including but not limited to decision makers, coaches, gatekeepers, influencer et al.

- Work with third party service provider like packing company, carriers, truckers or shipping lines for special projects when needed.

- Work with other DHL divisions for end-to-end supply chain solution design or cross BUs collaboration.

Internal Stakeholders

- Work with countries and internal departments such as Products, VAS, Finance, First Choice, BPO, IT and Implementation to satisfy customers’ needs and make sure service is provided smoothly.

- Coach and work closely with virtual team - Key Account Managers (KAMs), Program Managers (PMs), GSC Team, etc.

- Regular Performance Dialogue with Country KAMs or ASMs/PMs.

III) Process

Customer Business Development

- Conduct customer meeting/sales visits (potential & existing) and present company capabilities, value proposition and business fit.

- Identify and develop customer sales leads.

- Lead market profiling and customer/competitor research and analysis activities to understand and identify opportunities and challenges.

- Develop and/or communicate effective pricing strategies to drive profitable growth and volume.

- Develop supply chain management solutions meeting customer needs.

- Develop customer development plan/win plan and drive the communication and alignment with relevant stakeholder in region and countries such as Product and Key Account Managers on strategy for RFQ’s/tenders/bids.

Experience/Qualification Requirements

- Degree Holder, relevant post-graduate qualifications will be an advantage

- 6-8 years of solid experience in the logistics or forwarding industry

- Of which at least 2 years is dealing with major accounts on a regional or global level

- Relevant experience in International Supply Chain, Decarbonization Market Trend and Digitization Processes will be an added advantage

- Fluent use of English (both written and spoken)

- Ability to speak Mandarin will be an advantage

- Computer skill knowledge like MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word

Change Service Team Lead for Chief Technology Officer Organization

Role Description:

The CTO (Chief Technology Organization) Change Service Lead at Associate Director level will be based in the Singapore Technology Center and will have responsibility to establish a centralized tiered change service function to service to all CTO initiatives and product teams. Service levels will range from self-service for most product teams to full-service for our highest priorities. Change services, including templates, will be based on the Prosci ADKAR methodology. We consider communications one of the major tools to execute on change, so the services will include curation of communication channels and presentation assets, including videos and graphics. The expectation is that the Change Service Lead and the team they lead will be hands-on experts at using both change and communication tools, as well as able to upskill others.

Responsibilities:

Management of Change Service Team

• Manage a small team that will include the Product Manager of our CTO Portal (SharePoint) and a rotating pool of students and Gig based employees across our network of Technology Centers (US, Czech Republic, Singapore and India) to provide services globally.
• Advocate for the use of GenAI in the creation of change deliverables by the change service team and beyond.
• Establish the success criteria for the change services team in partnership with senior level stakeholders.
• Upskill a broader set of CTO employees on change using the Prosci ADKAR methodology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience in establishing a central service related to change or communications.
• Certification in one or more change management methodologies (ex: ADKAR).
• Portfolio of creative assets, such as videos and graphics

Regional Customer Director

Customer Solutions and Innovation (CSI) is a DHL's cross divisional commercial and innovation unit. We are responsible for managing DHL's largest and most strategically important customers. In a very competitive market, CSI work with our Business Units colleagues and provide value beyond what the customers expect, building stronger ties with Customer key decision makers. We focus on understanding our customer business and industry challenges and applying proven DHL solutions.

Role Purpose:

Drive sustained profitable growth for DHL by building customer value through strong relationships, cross-BU customer management, Sector approach and Innovation. The Regional Customer Director supports the Global Customer Director in the respective region.

1. PRE-SALES

In the respective Region, the Regional Customer Director (RCD) supports the Global Customer Director (GCD):

1a. Strategic account planning

• Provide input to Customer Development Plan, ensure buy-in within DHL for own region, and execute regional actions
• Identify long run prospects, game changing initiatives, innovation and eCommerce agenda in respective region
• Gather intelligence from internal & external sources to understand the customer (e.g. strategies, operational and procurement culture, supply chain maps including intelligence on ops, specs, incumbents, contracts, etc.)
• Conduct strategic customer dialogues with regional decision makers to identify customer's business objectives and supply chain requirements and challenges

1b. Customer Relationship Development

• Identify key customer contacts and build/maintain relationships. Ensure business fit in the respective region
• Develop coach networks and network with decision makers in the region to drive DHL agenda within the customer
• Align customer and DHL agenda: early communication of future trends and customer strategies to the BUs before the opportunities come to market

1c. Opportunity/pipeline development

• Identify, assess and develop new/growth/retention/ strategic opportunities regionally
• Drive renewal of profitable business in the region
• Confirm business fit with customer
• Support or conduct opportunity assessment with relevant DHL counterparts and obtain go/no go decision from BU on these opportunities
• Manage the regional pipeline to achieve revenue/volume/GP targets

2. SALES

In the respective Region, the RCD supports the GCD for Global deals and leads for Regional deals:

2a. Preparing the Deal

• Collect customer requirements and communicate these to CSI Commercial Operations and BU teams
• Define win and pricing strategy
• Work with CSI and BU virtual team and ensure customer requirements are considered in the offer
• Undertake due diligence on solution & price
• Develop proposal, business fit and solution fit

2b. Closing the deal

• Present proposal, business fit and solution fit
• Adapt proposal and gain sign-off on changes
• Ensure common understanding of service expectations and solutions with the customer, DHL countries/region and within CSI
• Coordinate and actively engage in negotiations, gain decision maker commitment and close the deal
• Provide input to contract and ensure its sign off prior to the start of trading and in line with CSI and divisional contract approval processes/guidelines
• Gain decision maker commitment

2c. Implementing the deal

• Represent and manage customer expectations, scope changes, approval process and deal activation
• Jointly support and monitor single BU implementation

3. AFTER-SALES

In the respective Region, the RCD supports the GCD:

3a. Service delivery and performance management

• Raise service quality escalation if required in the Region

3b. Account Maintenance

• Coordinate customer communications, including contractual and T&C changes
• Act as key contact for customer in the respective region, Channel communication to BU account teams and DHL internal functions in the region
• Conduct regional QRRs and QBRs at operational / strategic levels respectively, with the objective that all meetings develop the relationship. Provide input to global QRRs/QBRs.
• Drive customer satisfaction survey (CSS) nominations, participation and follow up for her/his customer in the region.
• Partner with AR team and escalate issues with the customer as needed in the region.
• Provide input to Customer Status Update (CSU) follow up on issues and act as escalation instance in the region.

Requirement for the Role:

• Requires 8-12 years of experience in the Logistics industry, Sector or Customer
• Requires 3-5 years of commercial experience
• Minimum 2-4 years of consultative selling experience in an international context

What a Senior Director for QR Center of Excellence does at Visa:

As a lead of this Center of Excellence you would be responsible for:

• Championing Visa's QR response to diverse market segments including: (a) mature markets where QR participation has reached a scale, (b) markets situated on the threshold of substantial expansion, and (c) nascent markets that are at the early stage of QR adoption. Across these markets you will establish a QR participation framework for domestic as well as cross border QR payments.
• Internally, you would engage with senior executives of Visa such as Product and Merchants Sales and Acquiring leadership teams, Corporate Strategy, Group Country Managers. Externally, it would be evangelist of Visa’s QR strategy with Issuers, Acquirers, BigTech, Fintech, Regulators, and industry forums.
• You will shape the go to market plan for identified countries. This would include determining the participation model for that country, setting the right transaction economics, identifying partners to achieve scale faster, building end user Customer Value Proposition (CVP) and, promotional plans to accelerate ecosystem built up.
• To execute against the plan, you will be supported by a cross functional team across strategy, product commercialization, marketing, acceptance, implementation services, and in-market colleagues. You will also have a lean team directly reporting to you, which will be expanded as the business scales.
• You and your team will be responsible for gathering product development requirement, prioritizing them and, publishing the global product roadmap for QR code. One key area of responsibility will be to determine the revenue streams adjacent to the QR payment transaction and, then recommend built or buy decision for those adjacent value-added services.   
• As a part of your on-going responsibilities, you will maintain a programmatic approach to the activities of center of excellence, report periodic progress and, raise key issues & risks to gather support within the organization.
