Job description

The International Growth Team (IGT) helps customers and Google realize the potential of international growth across Google Ads. We are a global team composed of experienced strategy consultants, consultative sellers, and operations experts. In this role, you will be a trusted advisor and partner to Google's customers. From strategic planning support, identifying the right markets, to setting them up for success within their non-domestic footprint. You will provide insights and direct support, helping them reach and exceed their international ambitions.

• Identify international growth opportunities based on existing frameworks, tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive international growth and scale for an assigned portfolio.
• Understand customer objectives, and be a digital consultant to businesses in Asia Pacific (APAC) looking for international opportunities.
• Understand the market landscape, develop and execute projects around international growth, impacting clients understanding of global markets.
• Contribute to international growth acumen and resources within Google, and support other members in your network by sharing knowledge about your assigned market.
• Build thorough knowledge related to advertising on Google, Google Display Network, and YouTube.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in advertising sales, consulting, media, or working with advertising agencies.
• Experience in cross-border or exporting business.
• Experience in an investigative capacity, leveraging data to generate market insights or business proposals.
• Experience in a business or client-engagement role.
• Ability to communicate in English and French, German, or Spanish fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience developing grounded, insight-motivated narratives and applying them in mobile, digital, and offline mediums into actionable business growth opportunities.
• Experience working in Europe or knowledge of European markets/regions.
• Knowledge of digital advertising.
• Ability to take initiative and work well in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial and goal oriented mindset and tell stories with data.
• Excellent communication, investigative, project management, presentation, and organizational skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop high-touch relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with major international customers to fuel their advertising growth.
• Understand your customers’ objectives, and help them achieve these by developing forward-thinking, data-driven export sales recommendations and by educating them on wider export-related topics and opportunities.
• Identify high-impact export opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive export growth for your assigned portfolio.
• Partner with sales and cross-functional teams to manage end-to-end support from expansion strategy to campaign execution.
• Participate and lead external workshops and trainings to educate customers beyond your assigned portfolio on export opportunities & strategies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, digital advertising, consulting, or related fields.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Vietnamese fluently to engage and support English and Vietnamese-speaking customers.
• Experience working with international markets, or managing relationships with multinational clients

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or advanced professional degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated strength in communicating with and aligning multiple stakeholders internally and externally to defined goals and deliverables.
• Experience selling to or consulting with app developers & companies; familiarity with gaming app monetization and marketing strategy.
• Experience of thought leadership in applying data driven models that have had a tangible impact on marketing operations across international markets.
• Experience building an international business, including developing and executing international expansion plans and working in multiple countries and cultures.
