Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive art education programs that align with the institution's mission and goals.
Manage a team of art teachers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as needed.
Design and review curriculum materials to ensure they meet the educational needs of students.
Teach art classes and workshops to students of all ages and skill levels.
Communicate effectively with parents, addressing any questions or concerns related to their child's artistic development.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
Organize art exhibitions, competitions, and other events to showcase students' work and achievements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Art Education or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in art education, with a focus on teaching in Singapore.
Proficiency in calligraphy, oil painting, watercolor, sketching, and other art forms.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team of teachers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.
Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a passion for working with students of all ages.
