Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing lessons and assisting teachers with co-teaching.
• Help students with self-care, grooming, and toileting as needed.
• Assist teachers by collecting basic data on student behavior and progress.
• Collaborate with teachers on classroom management, including implementing behavior plans and monitoring lesson progress.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum O Levels or Higher Nitec
• Minimum 1 year experience in teaching children and/or youths.
• Experience in teaching children and youths with autism will be an advantage
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of special education teachers (one-year renewable contract or permanent positions) who are passionate about teaching and providing support to special needs students.

Job Responsibilities:

• Teach, train and provide support to students in the arts & craft curriculum and personal development aspects.
• Plan and execute day-to-day school programmes to create a structured and enriching learning environment.
• Participate in curriculum planning and development
• Monitor students behaviour through data collection and behaviour analysis for informed interventions.
• Collaborate with multi-professional team and engage parents to ensure holistic education and care for students
• Develop and implement IEP lesson plans, reports, records and documentation
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation to support ongoing assessment and facilitate effective communication among the educational team, parents, and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum diploma from the five recognized local polytechnics
• Teaching qualifications or equivalent in Special Education will be an advantage
• Experience in dealing with children and youths with autism will be an advantage
