Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE), Diploma in Child Pyschology & Early Education
• Good problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build good rapport with parents and various stakeholders
• Enjoy and love the company of young children
• Team player
• Preferably energetic, vibrant and child-like!

1. Plan, prepare, and implement a curriculum that is appropriate for the age level, skill, and social development of the group of children served.
2. Supervise and interact with the children in all areas of the program, outdoors, and during field trips away from the program.
3. Maintain a safe and healthy environment that helps each child to have a positive experience throughout the school day.
4. Treat all children with dignity and respect and allow for individual differences.
5. Be familiar with and adhere to the program’s policies, health and safety regulations, and emergency procedures.
6. Be responsible for maintaining the observational records such as portfolio for each child.
7. Maintain an open, friendly, professional relationship with all families.
