• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and deliver oral presentations to peers. Contribute to weekly analysis group meetings, monthly and annual marker lab meetings.
• Update system and other task tracking tools in a timely and accurate manner.
• Collaboratively analyze and solve technical problems. Projects will be distributed by the project coordinator. Self-motivated and make short-term plans for own day-to-day activities.
• Learn the background of experiments and customer projects. Read and understand scientific literature, assay development technical reports, active participation in meetings and share relevant information with others.
• Learn and adapt to new applications effectively.

Requirements :

• 1-2 years wet lab or marker data analysis experience in molecular marker technology or allied biotechnology activities. Promising fresher can also be considered.
• Ability to use DNA marker analysis software effectively.
• Ability to use Excel, Access and other Microsoft Office programs effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team and to communicate with individuals throughout various levels of our organization.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• Ability to use professional concepts in accordance with company objectives to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
• Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Ability to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and can provide guidance to other personnel.
• Strong understanding of Mendelian and Population Genetics, Experimental Statistics
• Good knowledge of genome organization, gene structure and genetic engineering
• Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate and net work with team mates / clients.
• Ability and motivation to learn and apply new technologies.
• Knowledge in handling high throughput PCR / liquid handling equipments, Electrophoresis, gel documentation, database management, knowledge of lab chemicals and high level of computer literacy

• Execute and supervise the day to day operations of the cooking studio
• Maintain the cleanliness of the studio thus providing a positive learning environment
• Proactive and Initiative in ensuring the food costs are within the allocated budget and seek improvements to reduce food wastes
• Be punctual and well prepared with required ingredients and tools before the class begins
• Deliver the required curriculum
• Promote and maintain high level of student satisfaction
• Offer suggestions for improvement to course implementation as part of our ongoing efforts to achieve excellence and increase our strategic advantage. Proposed enhancements must adhere to the necessary SOPs and Government requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma/Degree Holder in relevant fields
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is an advantage
• Competence in delivering the cooking classes
• Demonstrate excellent coaching abilities and can offer essential help to students
• Ability to devise recipes and maintain culinary standards
• Relevant experience in area of specialization is a plus (Eg: Korean, Asian)
