Client Engagement & Development

Client/Trainee Management & Development

• Formulate and implement Individual Learning Programme (ILP) through professional assessment
• Engage in continuous assessment, training and evaluation of trainees' holistic development

• Plan, implement and monitor trainees' security and safety procedures

Support Allied Health Professionals

• Monitor and implement programmes designed by Allied Health Professionals in the area of health fitness & wellness programme, motivational & behaviour management plans as well as sensory awareness
• Communicate critical information to Social Worker and Centre Manager

Administrative & Operations

• Support unit operational and logistics management
• Ensure centre/trainees safety and security
• Update of clients'/trainee's daily attendance and participation in activities, events and programmes in various client management system platforms

Event Management

Staff will be assigned to oversee at least one of the following duties and will provide assistance to the other staff when required:

The Executive will be responsible for overseeing the administrative matters of GERI, managing office resources, and providing guidance to staff to ensure efficiency in the overall work environment. Plan, implement and support the institute’s day-to-day operational functions.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

1. Ensure efficient operation of the institute in alignment with the institute’s strategic plans.

2. Ensure optimum utilization of resources.

3. Work closely with all staff on issues relating to workflows and improve work processes.

4. Work closely with other departments to provide all-round efficient administrative support services.

5. Oversee and take responsibility for ensuring that the institute’s work environment and premises are safe, conducive, and kept in good order.

6. Organise and run GERI management and staff meetings, including taking and writing minutes of such meetings.

7. Communicate information, announcements, and messages promptly to the wider team (e.g., office organization, building updates, safety measurements).

8. Manage office supplies, printers, and facilities, including purchasing, maintenance, repair, and stocking.

9. Function as a liaison with landlord (YCH), YH Hospital Planning, Facilities Management (FM), Environment Services Dept. (ESD), and Security Department to ensure that the office space is safe and secure, and equipment is well-serviced.

10. Troubleshoot office technical and facilities support. Function as the key liaison with Synapxe and outsourced IT support for staff’s computer problems in general.

11. Provide on-site troubleshooting technical assistance during calls, presentations, projects, etc.

12. Review Annual IT Work Plan with GERI’s HODs and submit proposed plans and budget to Synapxe for review and consolidation.

13. Review the preliminary YH/NHG’s Annual WorkPlan with Synapxe to scrutinize the cost sharing allocated to GERI.

14. Verify IT-related invoices (from Synapxe/AHPL/NHG) on a timely basis, working with Synapxe team staff when needed.

15. Review and ensure staff training and overseas conference applications adhere to NHG HR Travel Policies.

16. Support key research events organised by GERI’s internal teams, as well as staff events such as team bonding exercises.

17. Perform the appointed Fire Warden role for the institute.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

· Experience of working in a research-focused environment is a plus

· Bachelor’s degree and recognized professional expertise

· Minimum 2-3 years’ working experience in office management/administration

The Executive Assistant will be responsible to support the Education Development Office by assisting and coordinating in the area of trainee matters, evaluations and assessment, trainings, secretariat and other administrative functions.

Assist the Assistant Designated Institutional Officer, Program Director, Assistant Program Director and Faculty to support the operations of the office so as to provide the best learning environment and quality clinical education for trainee doctors in YH.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC

Support the Assistant Designated Institutional Officer and Program Director in overseeing the activities associated with Graduation Medical Education in the Education Development Office. This involves:

• Provide administrative support on trainees’ rotation to the hospital, on-the job training, assessment and evaluation and any other training needs of trainee doctors.

• Support in clinical training matters such as orientation, collation of assessment forms, tracking training hours and log books of trainees and Faculty appointments.

• Ensure all necessary evaluation takes place & submit in a timely manner

• Provide secretariat support for meetings with program stakeholders

• Assume the role as the point of contact for trainee doctors and Faculty

• Coordinate department and hospital wide faculty development activities and other training courses for the department

• Develop and maintain a filing system for the department for reporting and audit purposes

**Job Title: Gym Trainer**

**Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated Gym Trainer to join our team in Yishun. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals. As a Gym Trainer, you will be responsible for conducting strength training, cardiovascular training, flexibility training, functional training, and ensuring the safety of all gym members through CPR and first aid knowledge.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Research Officer will assist the Principal Investigators (PI) to oversee the smooth running and tracking progress of clinical research studies related activities and project. This include:

• Perform DNA extraction, sample quality control, prepare sequencing libraries and Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) on clinical samples
• Collate multiple datasets and perform statistical analysis (not restricted to regression) for molecular (genomic and blood biomarker) epidemiology studies
• Perform bio-banking and cataloguing of biological samples
• To work closely with clinical research coordinators, scientist and other stakeholders
• To assist PI in project management and administration for multiple research projects, including ethics review applications to NHG DSRB
• To maintain clinical studies documentation in accordance with quality requirements
• • To assist PI with report generation, scientific meeting/conference presentations
• To produce high quality research reports, presentation and assist PI in publications
• Supervise and mentor internship studies
• To assist the PI in other day-to-day tasks as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science or Diploma in life science with at least 5 years’ experience in relevant field
• Experience in Molecular Assays (DNA extraction, polymerase chain reaction [PCR], qPCR) and Immuno assay (ELISA)
• Hands on experience in NGS workflow and data analysis
• Excellent academic writing and communication skills
• Able to work independently as well as with a team

Desirable
