Job Summary:

The Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist will play a critical role in preparing, organizing, and managing documentation and evidence for SSG audits. This position will also be responsible for planning and coordinating new training programs, ensuring that our processes and materials meet regulatory standards to maintain our status as an SSG-approved training provider.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Preparation: Organize and prepare necessary documents and evidence for upcoming SSG audits, ensuring readiness and compliance.

Documentation Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all training programs, student outcomes, and relevant compliance documents.

Policy Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to SSG guidelines, including regularly reviewing and updating internal policies.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to compliance and quality assurance processes for smoother audit preparation and internal controls.

Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of our training programs meet regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 1 years in compliance, quality assurance, or related roles; experience in the training or education industry is a plus.

Knowledge of SSG Compliance: Familiarity with SSG guidelines and audit requirements is preferred.

Education: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Compliance, Quality Management, or a related field.

Skills: Strong organizational and documentation skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in managing records and evidence for audits.

Communication: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate compliance requirements effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of training operations from developing courses, enrollment, facilitating the training and assessment sessions, certificate issuance to evaluation.
• Review training policy from time to time.
• Design and develop engaging and effective courses/training programmes for adult learners of different skill levels.
• Conduct courses/training programmes using a variety of instructional methods covering theory or practical skills.
• Ensure the timely submission of training documents from various departments and public learners.
• Engage and interview associate trainers.
• Assess learner competencies through different assessment methods.
• Maintain and update training records or course content.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in adult education.
• Collaborate with various departments to design, develop engaging new courses/training programmes and to improve existing courses/training programmes.
• Application of relevant training grants/claims.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in adult education or training delivery preferred

Job Purpose:

To develop and implement training strategies, plans and processes to support organizational goals. The position collaborates with business leaders and stakeholders to promote learning excellence and carry out plans for capability development by providing strategic learning interventions as well as providing technical and tactical support to all employees.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute learning strategies and programs
• Assess the organizational development needs, develop and implement learning interventions and programs to meet those needs, and assess the success of those efforts.
• Assess the efficiency of the training programs and performance of the instructors to make suggestions for improvement.
• Drive and implement strategies, policies and processes to strengthen the learning culture.
• Manage the integration of established internal training courses with technical and professional courses provided by external training firms and vendors
• Work together with HR team to identify business needs and make the most of learning and talent development programs, frameworks, and best practices to support the success of individuals and teams.
• Create, design, and implement programs and a road map for leadership development to increase the efficiency and competence of people managers.
• Lead and implement career development strategy and framework for the organization.
• Assist the HR team in the planning and implementation of talent mapping, goal-setting, and individual development planning.
• Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or deliver of e-learning.
• Create and execute OJT programs for the group.
• Work closely with HR team in the management and execution of rewards and recognition program.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in training, career development and employee initiatives that foster experience and engagement.
• Experience in identifying requirements, creating strategies and putting learning and development initiatives and programs into action as well as the capacity to provide adaptable and creative solutions to address various organizational and individual needs.
• Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices is a plus
• Effective presentation, training delivery and facilitation skills.
• Strong planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Professional certification i.e., ACTA is a plus
