Requirements:

1) Minimum academic level: Minimum Degree in Hospitality or related field (Master's Preferred)

2) Specific language proficiency: Proficient in English - Written and Spoken

3) Specific job experience: Min 2 years of Teaching experience

4) Good interpersonal skills

5) Computer-literate

Include but not limited to the following:-

1. To carry out teaching duties for both full-time and part-time programmes (PET & CET).
2. To prepare teaching courseware before start of academic term or programme.
3. To review and update teaching courseware through subject reviews for relevancy and currency.
4. To employ effective pedagogical method(s) e.g. video, group work, site visit, guest speaker etc. for lesson delivery.
5. To conduct WSQ assessments in accordance to the Assessment Plan for the Competency Unit.
6. To provide pastoral care to students through meaningful activities e.g. counselling, career guidance.
7. To conduct tutorial lessons for academically weak students.
8. To develop, review courseware and pedagogical methods and conduct Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing and Education Training (CET) programmes.
9. To set test/exam papers in accordance to the Assessment Plan for subject.
10. To mark and submit exam results and all required documentation accurately and by the required deadline.
11. To conduct exam invigilation.
12. To conduct Industrial Attachment (IA) visits at least once in every three (3) months.
13. To carry out administrative duties e.g., update student attendance, recording of counselling and engagements sessions.
14. To participate in official school and industry-related events and activities e.g. parents’ engagement, open house, school talks.
15. To attend training and development classes.
16. To maintain professional presence and establish position industry relations through membership in industry associations.
17. To carry out duties pertaining to the operations of the school’s training establishments, including restaurants, cafes, delis, etc…as and when assigned by management.
18. To demonstrate professional conduct in all interactions with stakeholders.
19. To make meaningful contributions to school community through active participation in project teams.
20. To participate and carry out any other duties and/or projects as and when assigned by management.

Job Requirements :

1. Degree holder in relevant field of studies from a recognised educational institution with at least 5 years industry experience at a supervisory/managerial level.
2. WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance mandatory.
3. Excellent command of English, with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
4. Team player who is able to work with faculty members and administrative staff.
5. Keen interest in nurturing students in their learning journey.
6. Key diploma level modules to delivery include budgeting, cost control and revenue management.

Job Description:

• Conduct or facilitate workshops pertaining to courses and/or modules of tertiary qualifications. Specialisations or disciplines include all tourism related courses in English.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or higher from a respectable university in a related field
• Industry professional qualifications will be an advantage
• Possess WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) or WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE)
• 1 or more years of adult training experience in delivering WSQ programmes will be an advantage
• Industry practice will be an advantage
• Able to conduct training in English and/or Mandarin
