Learning Designer

Are you passionate about producing experiential learning experiences which make the acquisition of knowledge and skill more efficient, effective, and appealing?

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop pedagogically-sound content of high quality standards
• Demonstrate customer-centric, technological abilities and instructional design (i.e. Bloom’s Taxonomy, ADDIE) capabilities to achieve the learning outcomes
• Creating storyboard, designing and developing assessments to gauge degree of learning
• Working collaboratively in a team for seamless delivery of your end-product
• Communicate with clients and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on a regular basis. (This does not intimidate you, and in fact, you get a kick out of it!)
• Conduct user training and review, and evaluate effectiveness of the course
• Enjoy challenging yourself to learn new ideas, concepts and topics. Continuous learning is preferably your motto in life!

Requirements:

• Candidate should possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in related field. (Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design or Training Related Specialisation.)
• Good command of the English language
• Strong organisation skills
• Experience in authoring tools is preferred
• Power user of Microsoft Products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Meticulous and has a good sense of detail
• Effective communication and a good team-player
• Self-driven and motivated to fulfil tasks within given deadline
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Full-time Junior or Senior positions are available

Learning Designer / Instructional Designer

• Develop learning/training needs analysis, creating a storyboard, designing and developing assessments to gauge degree of learning.
• Working collaboratively in a team for seamless delivery of your end-product

• Develop new online and offline courses, including video editing, and update existing courses for digitization.
• Track employees' training progress and results using the LMS, and manage training records for both Singapore and overseas.
• Assist in updating SOPs and manuals monthly and provide support in organizing and facilitating training sessions/workshops.
• Report work progress to the superior weekly and assist the assistant manager with tasks and branch inspections.
• Consolidate monthly evaluation reports (Hall, Roast, Kitchen) and create the training calendar.
• Collaborate with overseas trainers to provide materials and conduct franchisee operation training and restaurant audits.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and tasks related to people growth and development.

Requirements:

• Bilingual proficiency in both Chinese and English, with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
• Proven track record of teaching groups of 30+ students, with at least 10 courses delivered across both offline and online platforms.
• Expertise in independently creating exam content, developing new course materials, and managing student records.
• Skilled in video production and editing (please provide examples of previous work).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and at least one video editing software, with demonstrable outcomes.
• A highly positive attitude, strong emotional intelligence, and a problem-solving mindset, able to execute tasks assigned by management effectively.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Training-related field or over 2 years of working experience.
• Preferably able to start work immediately or at short notice
