This position works under the direct supervision of the Emerging Voices (EV) Specialist. The position has no supervisory responsibilities. Coordinates Mission Public Diplomacy outreach to Emerging Voices audiences through Experiential Learning (EXPL) projects and events, typically “learning through experience” activities such as tech or entrepreneurship camps, music and sports programs, journalism training, and other focused community engagement programs. Position

The School of Social Sciences (SOSS) invites applications for an Assistant Professor (Education Track) position in Sociology to begin in July 2025. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses across several major areas of sociology.

We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of excellent teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in sociology. We are especially seeking a candidate able to teach an outstanding introductory undergraduate course in Sociology. Additionally, we would value the ability to contribute courses on Southeast Asia, Singaporean society, sustainability, community development, and Asian identities. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement AI for software engineering solutions
• Conduct evaluations and/or user studies to validate the effectiveness of the algorithms and tools
• Write and publish research papers and present them to reputable academic conferences
• Package the documents, implementation code, evaluation results of the project for release

• Excellent Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Information Systems from a top-tier or local university. A Master Degree will be preferred
• Research experience in AI or Software Engineering, resulting in at least one submission/publication in a reputable research venue
