• Collaborate with Production Superintendent and Day Supervisors to develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures, and operation condition sheets.
• Trouble shooting and analyzing of control system (DCS, SIS)
• Assist Production Technology Engineer with trial production and test runs of new grades, processes and equipment.
• Conduct field tests and studies for plant efficiency, yield and energy conservation.
• Conduct process safety assessments (HAZOP,LOPA) and provide support to HSE department.
• Coordinate with technical section for process simulation, evaluation, investigation,
• performance & yield optimization.
• Implement technical corrective measures to address customer complaints effectively.
• Data logging for findings and provide recommend modifications, improvements and cost reduction
• Conduct basic engineering design for investment projects, including marked-up P&IDs and necessary technical information for cost estimation.
• Liaise with Technical department and work closely with technical process engineer to conduct relevant checks, documentations and performance test.
• Work closely with global EVAL process improvement team to build synergy for technical updates of KAP EVAL plant.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering/production work experience in chemical industry.
• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
• Experience in lean manufacturing methods (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen, TPM)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 4.30pm)
• Location: Jurong Island (Transport provided at Jurong East MRT)
• Salary: Up to $6000

i) On-Site Technical Support

• Arrange for on-site service visit, install, repair, troubleshooting, and re-location
• Set up and dismantle equipment for demonstrations
• Conduct equipment familiarization training for users
• Answer service enquiries
• Attend end user’s meetings
• Install and commission new equipment at customer’s sites

ii) Service administration

• Prepare service quotations, contracts, report, and invoice
• Arrange spare parts from suppliers
• Send / deliver repair item and spare parts
• Collect equipment for in house repairs
• Deliver new equipment to customers
• Assist to follow up on outstanding payments
• Send faulty parts to vendors for checking and testing
• Furnish technical information and quality report to Brand Principal

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Engineering related field
• 1 year of related work experience as field service engineer is preferred
• Candidates with Class 3 Driving Licence will be an added advantage
• Working hours: Monday to Friday: 9am – 5.30pm
