This job will be part of a dynamic team of experienced entrepreneurs and data experts.
Together, we provide brands, data owners and marketers with an end-to-end, privacy-conscious approach to efficiently onboard and enrich first-party data, build B2B and B2C audiences based on holistic characteristics (e.g., demographics, interests, offline signals and more), and activate those audiences across the digital ecosystem to reach new customers, enhance marketing analytics, deepen insights and boost omnichannel campaign performance - and on a global scale.
Position Overview
Eyeota is actively looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to join our team in Singapore and be instrumental in taking our products to the next level. In this role, you will be working in close collaboration with a team of highly empowered, experienced developers who are building a high-performance, highly scaled global platform.
What Will You Do?
● Conceive, build, and operate highly distributed systems deployed at a global scale.
● Employ cutting-edge technologies and techniques in a rapidly evolving domain.
● Assist in forward looking requirements and system architecture designs.
● Participates in Agile Development activities, in collaboration with the Product team.
● Translate operational requirements into software requirements, designs and implementations.
● Thrive in a progressive environment which relies on communication and initiative rather than process, to deliver at a high velocity.
● Provide a point of escalation for teams facing extremely complex technical challenges
● Identify challenges and technical interdependencies and suggest solutions to address them
● Take significant role in decision-making for technical, business, and organizational issues
● Provide technical direction for the team by being an expert in technology, system design and architecture
● Teach, mentor, grow, and advise other domain experts, individual contributors, and teams in the organization
● Own the end-to-end architecture of data analytics platform ensuring efficiency, cost effectiveness at high scale
● Deliver POCs (Proof of Concept) to quickly identify direction and gaps in proposed architecture and feature development
● Work with key customers in assigned areas to address technical challenges
● Collaborates with Product Management to help properly position and advance our product in the market
● Collaborate with our other technical teams on different technical initiatives
Desired Qualifications
● 12+ years of experience, at least 4 in a lead position
● Ability to thrive in an international/remote working team setup
● Creative thinker and problem solver, able to distill complex problems down to actionable items
● Experience in AdTech domain is a huge plus point
● Deep and broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies that affect the business
● Expert in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting major portions of a production stack
● Proficient in Java, Golang, SQL and other relevant technologies
● Proficient in Big Data space
● Proficient in development and/or usage of distributed systems
● Expert in low level development and debugging of memory and performance issues
● Expertise in Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes platform development
● Expert in the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery product space
● Experience in handling Terabytes of data is a huge plus point
● Experience in building framework/platform for AI/ML pipelines is a huge plus point
