• Oversees construction drawing management and control of construction technical documentations.
• Carry out daily construction site supervision, coordination and quality assurance of all trade implementation on site.
• Ensures works are carried out in accordance with updated drawings, specifications, method of statements, master programme and consultants site instructions.
• Liaises with Clients, Consultants, RE / RTO to carry out site inspection and attend weekly /monthly meeting.
• Manages procurement of all site resources including sub-contractors, suppliers, manpower, materials and machinery .
• Manages and resolve technical issues on construction site, prepare method of statement, shop / working /as-built drawing, project daily / weekly / monthly progress report with progress photographs.

Requirements:

• Have C3 and above driving license.
• Post-graduate / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering

Job Description

• Oversee project execution during design, construction and testing and commission works for water and wastewater treatment works or process plant engineering and construction works.
• Lead the technical presentation to Client and Consultant
• Coordinate with Client, Consultant, Client Site Technical Representative(s), Subcontractors and Suppliers during project execution.
• Process Mechanical Work Design in water and wastewater treatment plants and pumping station and pipeline.
• Prepare and submit Process Mechanical Technical particular to Consultant/Client and following up on technical submission till its approval/acceptance by Consultant/Client.
• Control and monitor process mechanical work progress with Sub Contractors and suppliers on the mechanical technical documentation and physical work deliverables.
• Assist PM on progressive monthly claim and payment response matters with Sub Contractors and Suppliers.
• Coordinate with Project QS/PM for establishing of contractual scope of mechanical works and its technical requirements and participating in calling of quotation and assists Procurement Team during awarding of Sub Contract/Supply Contract.
• Prepare O&M Manual and As Built drawings for handing over to client.
• Support PM for project schedule or manpower arrangements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Environmental Engineering。
• Experienced Mechanical Engineer with qualifications recognized by the PEB Singapore.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in plant construction fields and preferably in Water and Wastewater Industries in Singapore or in Southeast Asia Region.
• Have experience in water and sewerage pumping station including pipe laying works.
• Good knowledge of Design/Coordination and the Code of Practices and its requirements such as American Standard, British Standard and Singapore Standards.
• Good knowledge of relevant software: Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Knowledge of CAD, BIM, and Project Scheduling will be an added advantage.
