Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions to mitigate identified hazards.
• Assist in investigating accidents or incidents to identify causes and develop solutions.
• Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
• Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and ensure compliance with legal and company guidelines.
• Conduct training sessions and presentations on safety matters and accident prevention.
• Monitor employees and operations through regular inspections to ensure compliance with policies and laws.
• Recommend solutions for safety issues, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose new prevention measures.
• Collaborate closely with product factories to enhance and synchronize technical safety management across different products.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Safety Specialist with in-depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., WSH) and procedures is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present and explain safety topics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites to perform job duties.
• Attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.
• Good interpersonal and time management skills.
• Meticulous, organized, and resourceful team player.
• Ability to handle all matters with confidentiality, sensitivity, and knowledge.
