Job Description

You will be part of the End-User support team that is responsible to manage the day-to-day support for faculties, schools and departments. You will work across a broad range of technologies and liaise across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests and be responsible for answering IT requests via phone, email and IT Ticketing System.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of IT desktop support engineers to provide effective and timely IT desktop support, advice, guidance and timely problem resolution to achieve desired operational outcomes.
• Manage day-to-day work activities of a team, including rostering, customer experience, SLA and prioritising and allocating service tickets.
• Provide level 1.5 technical support and advice to users on EUD related issues or queries.
• Provide effective and timely day-to-day End-User device support, advice, guidance and diagnosis, and timely problem resolution.
• Maintain PCs/laptops, mobile devices, IP phone systems, printers and peripherals, etc.
• Support the use of End-User devices such as PC, laptops, tablets and mobile devices running on MS Windows, Linux, Mac OS, iOS, Android, etc.
• Support the use of IT applications such as O365, Faculty software and utility applications e.g., Adobe, Zip, etc.
• Provide technical consultation and advice to users on End-User devices.
• Work closely with technical teams to provide technical solutions.
• Assist IT Business Partner with miscellaneous administrative and management duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience with 2 – 3 years of team lead experience in managing and supervising a team.
• Good knowledge on basic networks, security, printers, desktops/ laptops/mobile devices, endpoint security and imaging.
• Good experience in troubleshooting MS Windows Operating Systems, Linux, Mac OS, iOS, Android and vulnerability resolutions
• Good customer service, communications and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge in ITIL processes will be an advantage
• Good communication skills.

Job Description:

• Develop machine learning models utilizing the latest NLP technologies to address various complex challenges Buyer/Shop/Seller/ Agent-side chat systems and reduce operational costs.
• Research and develop semantic search and recommendation, user intention recognition, multimodal understanding, intelligent document QA, etc.
• Collaborate with other technical teams to support the development, evaluation, and improvement of pretrained dialogue models based on Large Language Models (LLM), optimize the reliability of generated dialogue results, and improve online inference efficiency.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Information Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.

• At least 1 year of experience in NLP, Chatbot, recommendation & search, or other related algorithms.

Wilhelmsen Ship Services is looking for a Port Services Engineer.

The Port Services Engineer will sell and promote Wilhelmsen Ships Service Network, products, services and concepts in a professional way in ports and terminals and to satisfy the immediate needs of our customers in the port, always making the customers aware of ongoing campaigns and providing technical support, chemical tests and product demonstrations, as required or identified as necessary.

Who you will report to:

The Port Services Engineer reports to the Port Services Manager – works closely together with the rest of the team to promote Wilhelmsen Ships Service.

What you will be doing:

PSE Main responsibilities

• Continuously promote WSS products and services to current and potential customers by use of campaign or other material and tools
• Initiate and maintain continuous contact with Ports, Terminals, Dry Docks Repair Yards and Ship’s Agents to identify opportunities and obtain information concerning Charterers, vessel arrival times, names of the Captain, Superintendents and other senior members of the crew, to communicate with them before or on arrival and provide them first class service to ensure that any order or enquiries will be given to WSS and not to an alternative local supplier
• Visit vessels upon request for specific services, assist vessel’s crew for port deliveries where applicable
• Visit vessels according to the prioritised customer category and highest global business value and sales potential
• Report back the vessel visit outcome in the system and create relevant leads
• To possess the required and defined technical competencies that is agreed with the Area Technical Sales Manager, and thus able to promote all Solutions and carry out defined services and inspections/installations
• Complete and issue relevant documentation after every visit/service on board
• Ensure that the customers experience the port service interaction as professional, valuable and pleasant
• Obtain customer feedback concerning any matters affecting customer satisfaction and report backin Salesforce, included reporting of any customer complain if necessary
• Report back to Area Technical Sales Manager(Sales)on competitor activities in the Port
• Support customer and sales force when vessels will be sold / bought (cylinder count, new orders, additional product/services needed)

PSE working for MP Operations extra responsibilities

• Received import shipment pre-alerts and documents.
• Create documentation and apply for local authorities import shipment approval (as required).
• Submit and Follow up with authorities for on time approval of shipments.
• Coordinate for the preparation of import clearance with Customs Specialist/Freight Forwarder.
• Attend MOI/Customs inspections in ports during shipment clearance as well as warehouse inspection as required.
• Maintain operation standards for customs procedures, including valuation, classification, entry review and record retention.
• Maintain a firm understanding of Dangerous Goods customs handling requirements

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Tertiary / Degree in a technical/engineering field (mechanical, engineering, maritime)
• Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in technical/ engineering / maritime field
• High intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn
• Capability to drive an independent workstream
