Core Responsibilities

• Devise mechanical solutions and integration of electrical components on subassembly or assembly level.
• Design products for additive manufacturing and design for assembly.

Senior C&S Engineer

Job Scope:

• Civil & structure design, analysis and assessment for foundation, excavation, earth retaining structures, slope, instrumentation and site investigation.
• Plan, design, supervise & coordinate for civil structural engineering and infrastructure design and site works.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Liaison with project stakeholders, clients other consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.
• Assist Team Leader in maintaining high-quality standards of design and supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering in civil and structural engineering recognised by PE Board.
• Minimum 5 years design experience in geotechnical and civil engineering projects in consulting firm.
• Well-versed in civil and structural design software.
• Familiar with authorities' submission requirements for engineering projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the technical integrity of all Safety Engineering design activities and deliverables under his/ her supervision through the project lifecycle and for the compliance with relevant project performance, integrity, quality and HSE requirements.
• Review and provide technical inputs on Technical Safety related technical matters to interfacing disciplines, in coordination with the team/department, during the development of design on projects.
• Manage Technical Safety interfaces with equipment and package suppliers to comply with technical requirements, specifications and Client’s Basis of Design, Standards & Project Specifications.
• Be responsible for the progress of assigned Technical Safety scopes, the internal and external deliverables in line with project budget and schedule.
• Act as the package responsible engineer for safety, life-saving and firefighting equipment.

Work experience requirements:

• Has atleast 7 years of experience having worked in an engineering setup for upstream oil & gas projects.
• Must have prior work experience with medium/large-sized brownfield and/or greenfield projects in the upstream Oil and Gas sector and possess a good understanding of project phases, milestones, deliverables, internal and external interfaces.
• Must have significant experience with implementing Safety Design Philosophies and Specifications
• Must have had significant experience with developing Safety Engineering Deliverables.
• Must have had significant exposure to supporting the development and implementation of recommendations from third party safety studies and workshops, including HAZID/ENVID, SIL Classifications, Smoke, Gas, Fire and Explosion Risk Analyses, Evacuation Analyses, QRA, ALARP assessments, Fire and Gas Mappings and Noise Studies.
• Must have a good understanding and knowledge of oil and natural gas industry standards such as, but not limited to, API (American Petroleum Institute), ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation), NORSOK, EU Directives and other relevant standards related to Technical Safety.
• Must have strong computer literacy in MS Office and shall be familiar in Technical Safety-related software such as Pipenet, DNV PHAST, Flaresim etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/ HSE-Safety/ Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering specialisation.

• Pneumatic / hydraulic circuit design
• Detail fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and layout drawings

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor/ Master of Mechanical Engineering
• 3D solid Modeling, preferably Pro-E (others like Solid Edge, Auto Inventor, Mechanical Desktop, Solid Designer are also acceptable).
• Strong project management skills
• Good track record in:

1. Ultra High Precision machine design
2. High Speed Pick and Place mechanism design
3. Structural, kinematics and dynamic analysis and FEA simulation
4. Geometrical tolerance and dimensional analysis (e.g. stack up error)
5. Engineering material selection
6. Design troubleshooting
7. Application of analysis tools like FMEA, DOE

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop modules for high-speed Flip Chip Bonder.
• To be able to design and develop Bond heads and/or Wafer Modules with high-speed ejection system and/or High-Speed Pick and Place modules.
• Responsible for 3D & 2D drawings, tolerance analysis, BOM preparation.
• Planning, Scheduling and Costing of Machines and Mechanical Modules
• Working closely with Electrical, Vision and Software Engineers.
• Work extended hours in critical phases of project execution.
• Travel for Machine Installations and Buy Off

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of design experiences in semiconductor machines. Especially Flip Chip or Die Attach. Experience on SMT machines is a plus.
• Experience with Design and Development of High-Speed Pick and Place Systems, Flip Chip Bonders, Die Attach Machines is a must.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical concepts and problem-solving skills, including knowledge in stack tolerance.
• Knowledge of high-speed Valves and High-Speed Electronics is a definite plus
• Proficiency with Creo is a definite advantage.
• Experience with vision application, thermal modelling, calculation and measurement techniques would be an advantage.
