Job Description:

• Review the basic process design from the proposal/sales team;
• Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on project specification;
• Prepare engineering calculations and equipment sizing;
• Review and understand project specifications to ensure company design complies with customer specifications;
• Prepare equipment datasheets (valve list, equipment list, piping schedule, instrument list, etc);
• Supervise and review complex equipment skid 3D model to ensure compliance with project specification;
• Supervise the preparation of general arrangement drawings, piping detail drawings; skid structure arrangement drawings;
• Interface with EIA (Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation) engineer in preparation of project documents;
• Send inquiries to vendors to obtain price quotations;
• Review of vendors, fabricators and sub-contractors quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications;
• Review of vendors, fabricators and sub-contractors engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Participate in internal and external design reviews;
• Prepare O&M manuals;
• Support testing and commissioning

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering;
• At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in industrial water/wastewater treatment;
• Experience in the O&G industry is a plus;
• Experience in the design of complex skid-based industrial water treatment systems;
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously;
• Knowledge of industry standards and specifications;
• Able to work in multi-cultural teams;
• Proficient in MS Office applications;
• Willing to travel

• Working Location: West (Transport provided at Boon Lay/Pioneer)
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30 am – 5.30 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic up to $6000 + AWS Variable Bonus + $30 Mobile Claim
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• To lead the tooling team in problem-solving, identifying issues, and conducting root cause analysis.
• Analyze and improve stamping processes for cost reduction and quality enhancement.
• Investigate technical issues and analyze defects.
• Provide technical support to Sales and ensure tooling feasibility for customers.
• Lead cross-functional teams to streamline operations, reduce cycle times, and cut down on waste.
• Manage all documentation to comply with ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, and ISO13485 standards.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment while complying with industry standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to prolong tool life and reduce downtime.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
• Regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain detailed records of all tooling modifications and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Production, NPI, Quality Control, and Operations teams to optimize tooling effectiveness.
• Handle additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Description

• Assist the automation maintenance team in conducting regular preventive, corrective, predictive, conditions-based, ad hoc, and reliability-centered maintenance on storage systems, equipment, and packaging machines to ensure optimal operation and minimal disruption to the supply chain's operation.
• Collaborate with the Automation Maintenance Lead to diagnose and repair malfunctioning complex logistics and packaging equipment effectively.
• Support the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of storage systems and packaging equipment during project phases as a representative of the team.
• Aid the automation team in maintaining industrial control systems for automated equipment, both software and hardware components.
• Provide engineering support for modifications to robotic and automation systems.
• Liaise closely with operations and automation teams to ensure that all automation equipment and processes meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
• Assist in preparing reports on system performance and breakdowns from technicians for management review.
• Provide support to the Automation Maintenance Lead and technicians in identifying and resolving process-related issues.
• Collaborate with the team to develop work instructions, safety risk assessments, and continuous improvement projects.
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Control or any related.
• At least of 3 years' working experience in an integrator/automation equipment manufacturer/warehouse automation project, or 5 years' experience in after-service roles within automation projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with various devices used in automation.
• Experience with automation control products such as Siemens IPC, PLC, HMI, SCADA, TIA Portal, various drives, and software/hardware.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with overseas counterparts.
