We are seeking a motivated and hands-on AI Engineer who can join our team of highly skilled engineers.

As an AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing LLM and GPT-based applications, fine-tuning LLMs, and developing in-house RAG frameworks to handle unstructured data. You will evaluate these frameworks and enhance the AI capabilities across the company.

This role involves working closely with senior business stakeholders, coordinating with cloud infrastructure teams, and leading GenAI projects. You will also play a key role in building the GenAI infrastructure on the cloud and streamlining AI application deployment across the organization.

Major Responsibilities

· Develop and implement LLM and GPT-based applications.

· Fine-tune LLM models to improve performance.

· Develop and maintain in-house RAG frameworks for handling unstructured data.

· Evaluate RAG frameworks and enhance AI capabilities across the organization.

· Present LLM-based solutions to senior business stakeholders across APAC.

· Build and maintain GenAI infrastructure on the cloud, with a strong focus on Azure.

· Streamline AI application deployment across the organization.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.

· Conduct experiments and measure the effectiveness of AI models and applications.

· Implement vectorization and embedding techniques for various AI applications.

· Work on multi-modal AI projects and integrate multi-modal capabilities into existing frameworks.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

· 2 years+ of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer.

· Hands-on experience with GenAI/LLM projects.

· Proficiency with GPT models, RAG, Langchain, Langgraph, and AzureML.

· Strong experience with Python and related libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

· Understanding and practical knowledge of vectorization and embedding techniques.

· Experience with multi-modal AI technologies.

· Experience with Windows Azure for AI and machine learning deployments.

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

· Active GitHub contributor is highly appreciated.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Under direct supervision, assists with production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to the Drawing Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports and various 3rd-party submissions.
• Consolidates knowledge in areas of structural engineering, including design codes, legislative requirements and current good engineering practice.
• Limited awareness of clients' needs; addresses design parameters and problems; develops and implements solutions.
• Assists in the production of technical documentation, such as technical scope of work for the tendering job, installation aids structural design, lifting analysis and rigging design, transportation and seafastening design, etc. for the projects.
• Makes effort to become aware of all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements.
• Participates in meetings/correspondence with Clients, subcontractors, 3rd parties, etc. in a junior capacity.
• Recognises the objectives for professional development.
• Adheres to the training requirements of the Graduate Engineer Development Scheme.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering discipline
• Minimum of five years' work experience in EPMS, BMS, HVAC, or Industrial Controls/ Automation
• Previous work experience as an automation/ controls commissioning engineer and managing a team of technicians is preferable

The engineer is responsible for supporting motor & generator services, transformer services and switchgear services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Take charge of maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and replacement of machinery equipment and systems such as chillers, motors, switchgears, generators and transformers.
• Carry out testing for all types of protection and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain relations with supervisors, assistant supervisors and other department on engineering concerns.
• Identify and solve engineering problems as needed.
• Ensure works are done timely.
• Ensure all safety aspects of the team.
• Mentor and train up technicians.
