Job Description

Mobile App Developer to support the various mobile apps initiatives. You will be joining a team of developers to deliver end to end solutions for the university mobile platform. You will be responsible for planning, analysing, developing and maintaining the various solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Collaborate with team members to deliver high quality, bug proof, high performance mobile and web applications.
- To plan, analyze, develop and maintain business applications based on business users’ IT requirements and to provide support services to business users over issues encountered upon using the applications.
- Design and implement high quality complex applications and solutions that will meet users’ requirements.
- Provide post-implementation maintenance support encountered with the existing applications.
- Conduct technical feasibility study, analyse requirement specifications and collaborate with teams to design and architect solutions including developing proof of concepts.
- Document and update the technical design specifications.
- Prepare effort estimation, develop technical activities, schedule and work breakdown structures to ensure compliance to project scope, deliverables, resources and budget.
- Ensure compliance with security, development and quality standards.
- Identify and keep abreast of latest application development and technology trends on new initiative and emerging technologies.
- Conduct or facilitate knowledge sharing of emerging technologies.
- Support the publishing of mobile apps into Google Play and Apple App Store.

Qualifications

- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
- Good mobile programming skill in Flutter (Dart), Android (Java), iOS (Swift & Objective-C) and React-native is a must.
- Good web application programming skill in Flutter Web, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap and ReactJS.
- Experience with webservices, SOAP, REST, JSON.
- Experience with SQL and Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as Oracle and MSSQL.
- Experience in publishing apps to Google Play and Apple App Store.
- Relevant experience in application design, development, and support, and has completed at least 3 iterations of Agile development in web/mobile projects.
- Familiar with CI/CD processes, github, subversion and Azure DevOps.
- Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely. The ability to understand the business questions that users are trying to get answered is essential.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendors.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must be a good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organized and positive attitude.
- At least 10 years of working experience in mobile development, with at least 3 years of experience developing mobile apps in a Higher Education industry.

Senior Special Process Engineer

Location: Gul Circle & Jalan Boon Lay

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Responsible for developing, creating, and updating special processes and work instructions in accordance with engineering drawings and specification.

• Responsible for maintaining and modifying the existing special processes to achieve technical and quality requirements

• Ensure compliance and best practice within the special processes to Nadcap and meeting customer requirements.

• Be the technical focal point for NADCAP audits including the planning, preparation, audit and follow-up of NCR's and corrective action

• Prepare the qualification of internal and suppliers of special processes.

• Conduct internal and supplier special process audits and manage corrective actions to ensure these are implemented within a timely manner

• Work closely with suppliers where quality performance has deteriorated to identify root cause of issues, compile action plan and resolve problems.

• Solve technical issues and problems as appropriate when encounter in their daily work

• Conduct new and continuation training & awareness of special processes with inspector and operator.

• Ensure all data, filing and records are kept up-to-date and comply with retention periods

• Participate in CI projects to reduce cost, improve quality and cycle time.

• Perform other duties as assigned by QAM

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Aerospace Engineering or other equivalent

• Preferably with experience in process, production and continuous improvement is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written) in English

• Strong technical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Preferably certified NDT Fluorescent Penetrant

• Preferably certified 6G TIG Welding

• Preferably certified Heat Treatment

• Relevant experience in aerospace and manufacturing industry is a plus

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong technical knowledge on RHEL or Windows Operating System
• Proficient in automation tools like AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and AWS Systems Manager
• Experience in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools like Gitlab, Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Strong understanding of security best practices in AWS
• Cloud certification (AWS / Azure / GCP) will be advantageous
• Knowledge in Active Directory, Public Key Infrastructure or Networking will be advantageous
• Excellent communication and collaboration skill
