• Submit Variation Orders, RFI,
• Coordinate and assist site superintendent on installation and maintenance of site temporary utilities services
• Technically strong in Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, to resolve design issue.

Job Requirements

• Preferably with a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Mechanical & Electrical services from A1 main contractor
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast and dynamic work environment
• Well verse in code of practise and have good project records.

Job Summary:
The AV Installation Assistant/Engineer will work closely with our skilled installation team to set up and configure audio-visual systems for our clients. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for AV technology, an eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist/ conduct in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of AV systems, including home theaters, audio systems, and other AV equipment.
• Help in / conduct cutting ceilings, running and organizing cabling, wiring, and mounting of equipment.
• Ensure the proper setup, alignment, and calibration of equipment for optimal performance.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supplies required for installations.
• Assist in testing systems post-installation to verify functionality and quality.
• Provide support in educating clients on basic system operation and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in AV installation, electrical work, or technical support is an advantage but not required; training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of AV systems, components, and wiring (preferred).
• Ability to use basic hand tools and follow installation instructions accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and work on ladders as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AV brands and equipment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of audio calibration and setup is an advantage.

Working Hours:

• Full-time.
• 5 days a week
• 9:30am -6:30pm
• Closed on Public Holidays
• 14 days a year

Responsiblities:

• Lead and manage a team of Technical Officers for all addition and alteration (A&A) and project works.
• Plan, organize, co-ordinate and implement A&A and project work timely and ensure compliance to all authority and client's requirement.
• Liaise with sub-contractor and vendor for quotation.
• Liaise with client's appointed officer on all issues related to the A&A and project work.
• Prepare drawings and involve in all feasible studies of all potential work with client and submit proposal.
• Provide technical guidance to all team members and client.
• Review and update all existing and new drawings as per changes.
• Assist and support the Facilities Manager in all areas.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related A&A field or facilities management industry.
• Good knowledge of ACMV.
• Good knowledge of Autocad.
• Independent with good communication skill.
• Has a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behaviour.
