Requirements and skills

Animal lover, patient, proactive, committed, dedicated, willing to learn and work as a team.

Able to handle and take care of dogs and cats

Proficient in English and Chinese (oral and written)

Strong communication, people skills and Problem-solving skills

Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities

Able to perform Basic Grooming skills is a plus point

5 Day Work Week (have to work on weekends & some PH)

Relevant experience will be advantageous, otherwise we can train you if you have a willing to learn attitude

What the role is

The Building Development Department (BDD) oversees the development, re-development and refurbishment of MSE-owned infrastructure such as hawker centres and after-death facilities.

What you will be working on

You will be part of the team to oversee the development, re-development and refurbishment of MSE-owned infrastructure such as hawker centres and after-death facilities.

This role requires you to:

• Work with stakeholders to prepare and seek funding approvals for building projects
• Conduct feasibility studies and propose innovative/cost effective solutions
• Engage consultants and contractors to deliver quality works and services
• Review design proposals and manage the projects to ensure they meet NEA’s objectives in the areas of quality, delivery, environmental sustainability, safety and public relations.
• Manage the procurement of construction services and administration of construction contracts
• Prepare progress updates, manage budget forecasts and track project expenditures
• Gather, identify and analyse project information for process improvement
