Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensure that good safety and high quality of work are being carried out by the Contractor in compliance with the statutory requirements

• To provide wherever and whenever necessary standing supervision for the construction of civil and structural works in accordance with the Project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations.

• To assist SRE in the management and control of a team of site staff or Resident Technical Officer(s)

Qualifications and Requirements

• Min 4 years of civil engineering experience

• 2 years of experience advantageous in pedastrian overhead bridge, road, flyover construction

• Degree in Civil Engineering

• Accredited as a RE with IES

• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by Consultant team.
• Witness all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions performed by Sub-contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards, designs and specifications.
• Compile relevant equipment, material, inspection and test certificated submitted by the contractors as required for the project records.
• Ensure company's safety rule is complied with.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to drawings and specifications.
• Attend site meetings and perform site inspections.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Any other task assigned from time to time.
• Estimated commencement of work in Noember 2024.

Job Duties

• Prepare the ITP (inspection and test plan) documents, job hazard analysis (JHA) and risk assessment report for the assigned tasks in consultation with supervisor
• Monitor progress against the program milestones for on-time completion; Monitor production rate and provide feedback to supervisor on resource allocation
• Check workmanship and quality against specifications in drawings and ITP requirements; Perform other quality tests as required
• Provide inputs to supervisor to minimize wastage and optimize material/labour costs; Allocate costs under the correct code
