Job Description:
Provide onsite client support, assisting with troubleshooting, design, configuration, and escalated problem management.
Act as a key Day 2 team member involved in analyzing client and technical requirements, developing specifications, solution design, and development. May also consult on testing and deployment processes.
Manage client’s day 2 network operations in the Cisco ACI network landscape and other assigned network technologies.
Serve as the point of contact for client projects, interfacing with vendors for successful project management deployment.
Mandatory requirement: Experience in Cisco ACI project implementation or configuration.
Comfortable with onsite support at Tuas/western side of Singapore.
Comfortable with occasional support in outdoor environments due to data center/network equipment location.
Key Requirements:
At least five to eight years of professional technical experience related to software development, systems design and deployment, or networking and infrastructure within a large-scale MNC technology services environment.
Experience designing and building complex LAN and large WAN.
Expertise in routing/switching technology, including BGP, OSPF, etc.
Experience designing and building complex data center networks with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or any OpenFlow protocol.
Extensive hands-on experience with LAN switches/routers: Cisco, Huawei.
Experience designing and building complex campus networks with Software Defined Access (SDA) solutions from Cisco or any other SDA vendors.
Experience in network automation via scripting (e.g., Python) or tools (e.g., Ansible, Algosec, shell).
Experience designing and building network security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, SSL), Content Networking (cache, load balancer, F5, etc.).
Experience using ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and Splunk for management of network operations.
Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
Rotational standby required.
