Senior Devops Engineer

This role focuses on creating and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance. It involves providing technical assistance and support to users, resolving issues quickly and effectively, and ensuring a positive user experience. Key responsibilities include automation, troubleshooting problems, and delivering solutions to enhance overall system functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze, and resolve issues and defects in production.
• Participate in pre-production and production deployment activities in the PCF environment.
• Able to write scripts and automate processes.
• Able to write SQL queries and monitor database performance.
• Take initiative in following up with various teams until the product is shipped to production.
• Self-organize and manage priorities while delivering work in Scrum Teams.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in developing and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience in supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and cloud technologies.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Jenkins, JFrog, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of Python and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with relational databases like MariaDB and MySQL.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch and Grafana.
• Ability to manage business and provide timely updates on issues and resolutions.
• Capacity to handle capacity management and provide suggestions on capacity requirements.
• Responsibility for application stability.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adherence to policies in accessing different production systems.
• Compliance with policies in production deployments.

Responsibilities:

• To establish the quality assurance system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001for the project, formulate the Project Quality Plan.
• To develop, review and revise the Inspection & Test Plan, attend QA/QC meeting and to advise on quality control issues.
• Ensure quality of works in accordance with Quality Management Plan including development of Method Statements, Inspection & Testing Plans and Checklists. Should know process of handling, storage and handover process of such materials.
• Monitor the implementation of the Project Quality and Environmental Plan.
• Preparing Quality Plan that supports the project and clients’ requirements on quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC).
• Prepare and conduct site inspections and close on the reports
• Witnessing and sentencing of all site inspections within their disciplines.
• Follow and fill up the inspection and test plans to comply with the contract requirements.
• Ability to conduct inspection and test plans and Inspecting works and recording all inspections to ensure compliance as required.
• Acquaint section personnel with QA requirements and arrangements in place to achieve them.
• Audit and monitor QA and Environmental systems for compliance and effectiveness.
• Coordinating and maintaining a non-conformance control system including issuing of non-conformance reports to the Project Manager and ensure corrective actions are implemented and effective.
• Control/check on status of issue/revisions of QC documents/drawings within section/on sites.
• Ensure all QA/QC control measures and procedures are documented, implemented and auditable.
• Maintaining the quality assurance records and execution of periodic inspection on job.
• Verify that all quality related activities are in accordance with codes and standards.
• Works will involve Day & Night shift operations.

Qualifications:

• Possess Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electronic/Mechatronics) in construction firm
• At least 6-10 years working experience in the related field
• Preferably managers specializing in quality Assurance/Control, Engineering- Structural/Civil/Construction/ equivalent
• Familiar with ISO standard for ISO 9000, 14000, and18000
• Rail experience with LTA project in Singapore would be an advantage

Personal Attributes:

• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadline
