Accountabilities:

• Understand the customer’s network structure and become familiar with the Customer’s network implementation and support processes and procedures to ensure supporting a network with proper SLAs.
• Carry out migrations of existing setup, features, and configuration as required by the customer in a production/testing environment and help improve plans to implement new features to increase the network stability or user requirements.
• Perform IOS upgrades and patches to fix software and ensure that the environment is bug/vulnerable free by keeping system with up to date software.
• Troubleshoot production issues and network problems to fix any user related issues and work with principal vendors and customer to provide the resolution with in the proposed timelines.
• Raise equipment Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s) and to track till problem resolution and produce incident report for any severity issues that was reported by customers or end users.
• Be available for customers’ questions in assisting their needs to support network related issues and monitor customer network leveraging appropriate monitoring tools as well for special scheduled activities performed during non-business hours or public holidays due to system upgrades.
• Perform the wireless testing across customer’s different locations and identifying or fixing if there are any performance issues or slowness in network for wireless users.
• Identify the principal vendor best practices and only perform changes with customer approval to improve the security levels.
• Co-ordinate between his/her own Global Network Centre for any escalations or major issues and bridge between customer / senior resources / vendor / etc

The Individual and their Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experiences in network operations including wireless technologies.
• Hands on experience in fixing user issues in production environment is essential
• CCNA certified plus any other networking certifications preferred
• Basic understanding about Routing / switching protocols.
• In-depth knowledge on Stacking / L2 technologies / STP / IP Addressing.
• Proficient at performing local / remote IOS upgrades on different products and RMAs for faulty devices in production
• Good understanding about different monitoring tools like Cisco PI / PRTG / Spectrum / Syslog / etc and TCP/IP structure and IP scheme
• Strong knowledge on Wireless / ARP / MAC / L2 loops / Switching.
• Understand DNS / DHCP / Security knowledge is an added advantage.
• Eagerness and willingness to pick up & adapt new technologies and automation.

• Conduct site Audit on the sub-contractor/vendor.
• Ensure that adequate equipment and facilities are provided for verification of product quality.
• Ensure that all controlled documents are administered effectively.
• Quality control of sub-contractors.
• Daily coordination of all site work activities.
• Liaising with Client inspector/Authorized inspector to ensure project requirement is fully achieved through out the project.

• Carry out verification of purchased products in vendor's premises as specified in contracts.
• Monitor and control quality of purchased products.
• Monitor and control quality of special process performed.
• Ensure that all inspection, test and identifications are carried out according to quality plan or documented procedures.
• Ensure that all inspection and test equipment are properly calibrated and controlled.
• Ensure that all nonconforming materials and products are adequately controlled.
• Investigate the cause of the nonconforming products and the corrective action needed to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure that all quality reports and customers' complaints are analyzed with adequate corrective actions taken.
• Ensure that quality records are properly stored and maintained.
• Define quality requirement for service and installation of products.
• Maintain adequate statistical techniques to control product and process quality.

Job Description:

• Prepare project proposals & review, and seeking for approvals. Management team and Team Leaders will provide guidance. project team, management and customers.
• Work closely with business team to handle customers. Support business team for any escalations from customers.
• Organize and ensure key project milestones are achieved, eg Design Review, Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test, etc…
• Closely monitor progress with project Gantt chart, budget and scope of work. Resolve conflicts, remove impediments, and foster positive work environment for project team.
• Manage and maintain project documents and artefacts.
• Manage and facilitate productization of projects with manufacturing and aftersales team.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in an engineering field
• Knowledge in financial accounting, systems engineering, alternative and/or clean energy is advantageous
• Proficient with MS Project or similar, MS Office Suite of tools
• Fluent in English and writing skill of clear and concise reports

Education & Qualification

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess at least 8 years of relevant and practical experience on site;

Skills And Knowledge

• Strong technical knowledge to review design details and method statements.
• Ability to resolve site issues during construction.
• Familiarity with local mechanical & electrical codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Completion of at least one safety course and ability to identify potential safety infringements.
• Ability to manage a team of Site Supervisors (for Senior Resident Engineer, Resident Engineer, and Resident Architect roles).
• Administrative skills to maintain discipline and manage personnel records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team player.
