• Assist Project Manager in execution of Project Management, Project Schedule, and Coordination with sub-contractors

• Plan, implement, and monitor work schedules

• Liaise with main-contractor on site requirements

Roles and responsibilities

You will be part of the Automation Team that will create products which will revolutionize the factory floor. You will support our automation projects (Automated Inspection Tools, Industrial IoT (IIoT) implementation, smart devices from assembly to deployment and/or tool development). Throughout this process, you will also be involved in the preparation of key engineering documentation and drafting technical specifications.

1) Work with our engineering partners to get customer problems resolved

2) Support automated systems' installation, testing and commissioning

3) Automate procedure through our proprietary IWTS system implementation

4) Install, test and configure IWTS proprietary automation system software

5) Propose changes and improvements to increase efficiency of products and systems

6) Give support in evaluating/testing new components/suppliers

Requirements:

* Students currently persuing in any Engineering disciplines at ITE/polytechnic/local university, preferrably Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering , Materials Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering

* Internship commitment for more than 3 months

* Basic knowledge of Automation technology

* Basic 3D drawings in CAD software (e.g. Solidworks) is preferred

* Proficiency in MS Office

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude

Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with on and off site meeting pertaining to the technical issues
• Responsible for submission of Architectural samples, shops drawing and other related documents to the consultants or authorities
• Coordinate and monitor work progress at site including periodical site inspection and attending meetings during course of construction of project
• Proven problem solving and achievements work progress according to the work schedule
• Site supervision and able to coordinate well with sub-contractors, RE and RTO

Requirements:

• Candidate must at least a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5 year relevant experience in the related field for this position
• Be able to work independently with minimum guidance
• Good team player, keen desire to learn, contribute, advance and progress with the company

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret structural shop drawings provided by design team for the main Contractor’s direct works (RC structure, drain, precast member such as safety barrier and kerb, etc.).
• Prepare bar bending schedule (BBS) from the relevant shop drawings
• Quantity taking-off under the main Contractor’s direct works
• Co-ordinate with relevant departments of the main Contractor
• Co-ordinate with rebar supplier and fabricator for material order and delivery
• Prepare the approval process of material requisition (MR) with the information for issuing the purchase order (PO) of materials (rebar, formwork, scaffolding, temporary steel, ready-mixed concrete, cement, other related material, etc.)
• Categorize and manage all the cost (invoices) based on budget categories (major material such as concrete and rebar, other material, labour, service work, equipment, others, etc.)
• Compare the monthly actual cost and the budget based on the work-done QTY to check monthly profit/loss and conduct the estimation of future cost.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction industry
• Independent, self-motivated and responsible individual with good working attitude
• Can use CAD and Microsoft Excel to develop bar bending schedule

Radio Engineer (Satellite, Network)

Our esteem client is looking for a Radio Engineer (Satellite, Network)to conduct Radio Frequency (RF) and Network implementation of Communication (SATCOM/MW) Systems.

Responsibilities:

• To conduct and lead design reviews for Radio Frequency/ Satellite, Network communication systems.
• Responsible for SATCOM/Micro Wave system and network configurations, acceptance, interface and performance testing and commissioning of SATCOM/Microwave systems.
• Understand contractual and project requirements and specifications, propose and generate (SATCOM/MW) system architecture and designs.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Radio Frequency, Microwave, Satellite (Satcom) and Microwave.
• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Communication Engineering
• Experience in handling Radio Frequency/ Satellite and Network.
• Proficient in operating RF and electronics test and measuring equipment such as signal generator and spectrum analyzer
• Experience in Satellite/Microwave Communications and TCP/IP networking is an added advantage.
• Knowledgeable and/or hands-on experience in telecommunication systems and networks is an added advantage.
• Good in Customers Management.
