JOB SUMMARY

This is a detection engineering role that leverages knowledge of monitoring, analyzing, detecting, and responding to cyber events and incidents to develop and implement effective monitoring and alerting for information systems and networks. Currently we are assisting one of our clients to lookout for Infrastructure Engineer role, on a 12 months contract, renewable, Singapore Citizens only.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of multiple application products and its operational aspects of patching, application support etc. Eg, Websphere/IBM MQ/QlikSense/Sharepoint/Pega etc

• Take part in application architecture sessions with build teams to provide inputs on integration points like Web services, interfaces for MQ and SFTP

• Familiar with setting and defining operational processes.

• OS level patching

• Application-level patching

• Operational housekeeping and archival.

• Backup and recovery etc

• Familiar with Government level security concepts in hardening, scanning, security posture and mindset

• Troubleshooting Application and/or Infrastructure related problems

• Operational mindset to provide onsite support upon notice when issue occurs, including after office hours

• Monitoring and maintaining of IT system and application assets for the project

Top Must have skills / Primary skills

• Basic Networking Knowledge

• Basic Server Administration for Windows and Unix Operation systems

• Understanding of Enterprise 3-tier architecture

Good to have skills (Optional)

• Familiar with Agile process and tools so that can understand develop process and tools to support SDLC

• Scripting (Bash/Perl/Powershell etc)

• Familiar with Web application from end user interaction to backend servers and databases

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant site / building construction experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
• To attend to project / technical meeting and resolve site issues with owner / consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
• To verify the work done on site are in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications / authority’s requirement and ensured that the subcontractor carry out rectification for non-compliance.
• To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractor / supplier ASAP to minimise delay to the construction progress.
• To ensure that the related documentations are updated and ready for ISO audit.
• To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework.
• Assist site management team in project Planning & coordination.
• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation.
• Arrange and prepare documents for authorities’ submission for Conquers, RI, TOP etc.
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to understand project requirements.
• Understanding of critical project criteria related to schedule & productivity.
• Able to provide guidance to new staff / junior staff.

Prepare method statement, shop drawings, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.
