As a Process Engineering Manager, you will manage a team responsible for the design and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, or plants. Ensures continuous improvement in process, cost, quality, and production. In addition, provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and coordinate the process engineering group activities in the design, development, implementation and improvement of systems, processes, and product assembly.
• Provide planning, direction, and coordination for all process activities to ensure optimum use of workers, equipment, materials, and facilities.
• Plan and establish process engineering projects and follow up on performance against estimates.
• Troubleshooting Manufacturing issues to identify root cause and work with respective stake holders to resolve them.
• Initiate cost reduction proposals, compile appropriate information, make recommendations for action, and confirm results obtained.
• Manage, through process and procedure, the implementation of product design changes.
• Be responsible for the identification, source selection, installation, validation, training, and implementation of new equipment and new processes.
• Ensure active consultation with new product development teams regarding manufacturing capabilities and issues related to design for manufacturability, test, and assembly.
• Assist in the preparation of new product cost estimates.
• Define the technical training in manufacturing techniques, methods and processes provided to manufacturing associates.
• Actively seek knowledge of new manufacturing technologies, methods, and techniques.
• Administer group personnel functions such as recruiting, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance of company policies, procedures, and objectives regarding processes, initiatives, and projects

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements

• B.S. or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology
• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing work experience underscores extensive professional background and depth of expertise in the industry, providing a solid foundation for effective leadership and decision-making in complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) assembly is highly desirable.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques, coupled with the ability to apply this knowledge across various contexts to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Imaginative and creative in your thinking about what is possible.
• Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate a cross-functional team, comprising individuals from diverse levels and departments, encouraging them to surpass perceived limits and achieve remarkable outcomes.
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills, proficient in organizing and planning the allocation of time and resources effectively to ensure successful project execution.
• Possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to methodically dissect complex problems, gather relevant data, and derive valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and effective communication across various channels and audiences

Responsibilities

• Support utility operation to manage and monitor operation of site-wide utility equipment and systems by BOOM & IFM vendor and ensure safe operation and shutdown of utility equipment and systems.
• Serves as the Energy manager to submit all regulatory reports to government agencies.
• As the Water Efficiency Manager for site.
• Monitor, trend, analyze energy and water data to improve and optimize usage.
• Assist the manager in attaining financial goals by preparing and monitoring the approved annual utility operation budget, managing expenditures, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions for utility equipment/systems and utility services.
• Lead/participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support (IRS/QAR) investigations.
• Lead and complete annual Greenmark certification in Utilities area and submit to BCA.
• Participate and support global initiatives to share/learn best practices and implement improvements to achieve high reliability and reduction in energy/water cost.
• Inspire and engage their teams by clearly communicating performance expectations and providing coaching to support the team in meeting and exceeding expectations.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering related qualifications
• Energy Manager certifications is must & good to have Boiler Steam Engineer certificate
• Open for pharmaceutical, chemical, or petrochemical industries

Responsibility:

• To develop and agree specific statement of requirements for engineering commissions to be placed with external professional engineering design consultants;
• Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project management, ideally in transport infrastructure or water infrastructure;
• Liaise between customer, design team and contractors;
• Coordinates the development and evaluation of annual regional capital budgets within limits set by Corporate Engineering;
• Creates and checks solid models and assemblies from engineering sketches and descriptions;
• Identifying and hiring additional design engineers;
• Managing a small group of design engineers including employees and contractors;
• Work closely with Program Managers, System Engineers, HW & SW Engineers, and cross-functional teams to plan and drive the execution of engineering activities;
• Be responsible for ensuring that engineering development efforts are completed per cost and schedule and meet the defined requirements and commitments.
