Technician, Engineering

Oversee the general maintenance and minor repairs of equipment, facilities in our

Serviced Residence. You will have close collaborations with colleagues from the

different Departments including Guest Service and Housekeeping to provide a

smooth and pleasant stay for all our residents. You will report directly to the

Manager or Assistant Manager, Engineering.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain good physical conditions of the building and ensure that the

building essential needs such as domestic water, electrical, air conditioning

and ventilation system are of good working condition

2. Conduct general maintenance works such as, air-conditioning servicing,

plumbing facilities, electrical lightings switches, AV system, painting,

patching of walls, carpentry, and other fixtures and equipment to ensure

smooth operations

3. Perform routine preventive maintenance program

4. Check and inspect the building's machinery and equipment

5. Respond and priorities maintenance requisitions (MWO) and residents’

requests to ensure they receive quality service and furnishings

6. Perform related tasks as assigned

7. Perform rotating shift

8.First Aid & AED certified preferred.

9.Perform all tasks that are assigned by our management.

Position Requirements

• Minimum Education: Diploma in Engineering (any major)
• Experience:Engineering Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in any Singapore-based company
  Technician Experience: At least 5 years in a supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operational activities, including maintenance and tool installation in TRUST systems, to ensure optimum system performance and determine the system strategy for business continuity.
• Responsible for implementing and applying daily system health checks and proactive incident reporting.
• Support new operation initiatives and to drive development of system integration, acceptance, performance management practice and performance testing.
• Work with different stakeholders to perform technical support for any TRUST incident or request.
• Support integration services between external systems either on premise, hybrid, or public cloud environment to support TRUST systems by working closely with different stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring backup solution for TRUST data and system are operational state
• Support for any application/platform and security incidents, work with various internal teams and vendors to resolve issues on a timely basis to meet SLA.
• Responsible for tracking and maintaining TRUST asset inventory to ensure all asset are accounted for.
• Ensure that Standard Operation Processes (SOPs) are properly documented and complies with audit requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or in relevant disciplines.
• Added advantage with AWS Certification,working experience in Cloud-based services, IT operations and vendor management.
• Working knowledge of and experienced in Public Agency IT/System environment is preferred.
• Familiar with cloud-based services such as Government Commercial Cloud (GCC), AWS and/or Azure, in particular system ops services.
• Familiarity with security and access control measures to control privileged access to test and production environment.
• Experience in networking technologies such as WAN, LAN, Network Security, Firewall rules, Load
• Troubleshooting connectivity and data transfer issues.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as code (IaC) including Cloud formation and terraform is a plus. Certification in AWS SysOps is a plus.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a full time, energetic and driven candidate to fill our opening for Senior Energy Engineer, based in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities:

· Be part of the Energy Management & Solution team.

· Manage and work on Energy Audit / Energy Assessment / Energy Retrofitting, Contracting and Improvement projects.

· Conduct site-walk and gap analysis to determine necessary upgrades and improvement to achieve the desired energy & water savings.

· Conduct energy audit on building services (Level 1 – Level 3) to evaluate their performance and determine necessary upgrading measures.

· Conduct energy audit / verification on existing chilled-water plant and air-side system to verify the performance of the permanent measurement instrumentation and operating system efficiency.

· Conduct energy efficiency assessment on industrial facilities plants and infrastructures to identify potential energy improvement opportunities.

· Perform M&V and BMS trending data collection and analysis to identify building & chiller plant operation characteristics, performance, and areas of potential improvement & energy savings.

· Manage and perform on-site sensors verification, setting up of M&V instruments (such as power meter, temperature sensor, flow meter, etc) for energy audit / verification purposes.

· Prepare gap analysis and energy audit / assessment report according to templates and standards, for timely delivery and closure of the gap analysis and energy audit / assessment reports.

· Review and advise on energy & water savings strategies for building undergoing energy efficiency retrofits.

· Involve in energy efficiency & energy consumption analysis and benchmarking.

· Involve in water efficiency & water consumption analysis and benchmarking.

Requirements:

· Candidate must possess a Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Chemical) or equivalent.

· Preferably engineer specializing in Engineering – Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical.

· Possess a Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) accreditation is a must.

· At least 3-5 years of working experience in Energy Audit, Energy Assessment, or similar industry.

· Prior working knowledge of ACMV, Mechanical & Electrical designs in Commercial Buildings or Industrial Facilities Plants is a plus.

· Prior working experience of Facilities Management in Industrial Facilities Plants or related is a plus.

· Familiar with ASHRAE Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 Energy Audit will be added advantage.

· Familiar with Energy Efficiency Opportunities Assessment (EEOA) reporting for industrial facilities plants and infrastructures will be added advantage.

· Effective interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

· Team player with the ability to work as a team, willing to learn, contribute ideas and assist team member with tasks/duties, when required.

· Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse building or industrial services plant and chilled-water plant operational data.

· Broad based experience of computer systems and MS Office applications.
