About The Role

The Crux Lead Mechanical/Production Technician is a dual trade role for:

- A Mechanical Technician who has Production Technician qualifications or who would like to pursue development as a dual trade Production Technician. OR

- A Production Technician with a MECHANICAL Trade qualification

Job Scope:

• Responsible for maintenance and repair services of mechanical manufacturing systems.
• Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Monitors, repairs and maintains production equipment to ensure continuous production.
• Responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, data management, project support, control support and ISO audits support.
• Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
• Responsible for execution of work order and record job performed via MAXIMO system.
• Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.

Requirements:

• ITC/ NITEC/ Diploma in Engineering/ Mechanical or related discipline or Secondary education with more than 3 years of experience.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical/ Food/ Petrochemical/ Chemical/ Nutritional preferred.
• Responsible for equipment maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) of plant equipment in comply with the Site Safety and GMP procedures.

• Providing IT support to end-users across APAC, this includes help desk support, system administration, and network management on a day-to-day basis.
• Assisting in the deployment and upkeep of IT systems, offering technical assistance to users, and contributing to multiple IT projects.
• Assisting in the implementation and administration of Azure cloud solutions. This includes monitoring and fine-tune Azure services and resources to uphold optimal availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Assisting in the deployment and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring effectiveness, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborating with the IT team and stakeholders to strategize and execute IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

Skills and experience required

THE JOB

• Carry out diagnostic for van and lorry
• Carry out mechanical repair for van and lorry
• Carry out electronic repair for van and lorry
• Able to repair air condition
• Carry out engine overhaul and chassis repair
• Conduct preventive maintenance for vehicle
• Carry out sheet metal cutter and welding
• Carry out panel beating and spray painting
• Ensure that all work order is carried out accordance to the schedule
• In Charge of Vehicle movement and parking

REQUIREMENT

• Minimum 5-year relevant workshop experience dealing with commercial vehicle
• Familiar with light to medium size van & lorry and the servicing of major brand such as Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Isuzu and Hino
• Familiar with both Petrol and Diesel engine
• Possess positive learning attitude & a good team player
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• Bilingual English & Mandarin to speak to customer on commissioning the repair when needed
• 6-days work week
