As a Principle Process Engineer/ Process Manager supporting Engineering Department, you will be responsible for developing strategies and capabilities to implement continuous quality and productivity improvements to deliver measurable business targets (TPC improvement) that is aligned with the strategic site objectives at Tuas.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Budget and manage major site process and CAPEX projects meeting spending and forecast needs.
- Pro-actively act as coordinator and communicator in key meetings to understand the needs from various stakeholders
- Track and report on project portfolio performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized view of all projects, its deliverables, risks, and contingencies planned. Effective tracking and communication of project status and metrics.
- Help to maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines as necessary.
- Support the creation and improvement of processes, procedures, and tools.
- Perform regular “deep dive” review meeting with all dept. leads, sponsors and SLT and challenge the status quo and progress of the project as needed.
- Provide technical advice in processes/equipment design.
- Managing a resource capacity plan or resource forecast to help understand resource availability for responsible projects.
- Closely coordinate the impacts of global "top down" initiatives (non-start-up related i.e., HR, FIN, General Management) to monitor and report progress and risks/mitigation plans, in a timely manner.
- Ensure adequate and robust communication across the site regarding globally driven projects, key site initiatives and serve as a point of contact for global communications team.
- Develop site’s process engineering capabilities (design related) to assure robustness of operations and identify CI opportunities.
What You Will Bring to Alcon:
- Min Degree in any sciences or Engineering related studies.
- High performing, credible professional, with a track record of successfully managing projects
- A good understanding in the principles and methods of medicine manufacture and GMP attained in a manufacturing environment
- Approx. 10-15 years of GMP experience.
