Job Description:
- Review tender specifications / customers’ requirements and prepare process design.
- Obtain quotation from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors based on the requirements.
- Interact closely with vendors to understand new technologies and effective implementation of customer applications using vendor’s information.
- Interact closely with customers on technical information and clarifications.
- Prepare cost effective costings.
- Prepare commercial & technical proposals with specifications for timely bid submissions.
- Generate / coordinate P&ID and General Arrangement drawings.
- Work with Business Development Manager to apply costing and process design strategies to increase probability of winning bids.
- Coordinate with Process / Mechanical / Electrical & Instrumentation Team for technical clarification support if required.
- Follow up with customers on submitted proposals and potential opportunities.
- Negotiate with vendors and customers if required.
- Upon award of projects, review and verify completeness of PO contract and compliance with agreed requirements.
- Communicate and nurture relationships with customers to drive more opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
- Knowledge or previous experience in water treatment process and municipal wastewater treatment such as Filtration, UF, RO, EDI, SRU, MBBR, MBR etc.
- Knowledge and experience on pumps, motors, valves, piping, mechanical and electrical components for oil and gas industry is added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work on own initiative.
- Willing to travel for site visits, sales presentation to customers and technical clarification meeting occasionally.
