Qualification

• The REs shall have at least five (5)* years of site supervisory experience with minimum two (2) years in land reclamation, marine construction or coastal development related projects, and accredited by IES/ACES as a RE

The Job

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet all company service reporting requirements to customer.
• Conducting field evaluations of new products and equipment, installing test systems, recording data and training customer personnel in the use of the products.
• Provide on-site field service and on-site assistance towards troubleshooting and value-added services.
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer challenges, escalating as required.
• Working with applied services to design, construct and install new chemical feed equipment for use at customer sites.
• Coordinating the installation of new equipment with outside contractors when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the areas of Renewable Energy Systems, preferably with a specialisation in power systems, solar PV, battery storage, wind energy systems;
• Minimum Degree in Engineering or equivalent;
• Knowledgeable and experience on the different parameters for design, selection, and sizing of the batteries as well leveraging the parameters to optimise sizes of the batteries;
• Experience on Battery Energy Storage System design, chemistry selection, performance modelling, lifetime estimation simulations of batteries, degradation and augmentation schedules, visualization of business model (duty cycle) would be advantageous;
• Strong project management skills;
• Proficient in AutoCAD
