Job Scope:

• Create and develop mechanical designs for products or systems using CAD software
• Oversee and manage engineering projects from conception to completion

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor or automation equipment design; more experience considered for senior roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and techniques
• Experience with mechanical design using SolidWorks preferred; familiarity with Autodesk/AutoCAD is a plus
• Solid knowledge of material properties required for senior positions
• Good communication, time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills needed for senior roles
• Willingness to travel for overseas projects if necessary

• Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair electrical systems in facilities, including switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and lighting systems
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly
• Perform regular maintenance and repair of electrical systems to ensure maximum efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, including identifying the root cause of problems and developing effective solutions
• Work with project manager and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to extend their lifespan and reduce downtime
• Provide technical support and training to staff and clients on electrical systems operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

• Assist engineers and work with other technical officers
• Manage a team of 10 workers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Facilities, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection or facilities management, with a focus on electrical systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, principles, codes, and standards.
• Experience managing and leading a team of technicians
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and develop creative solutions

• Report to the Head of Department at basis level and to the Lead Electrical Engineer at project level.

• Continuously seek to improve working methods, tools and procedures and contribute actively to the Electrical Engineering Discipline development and experience transfer.

Work experience requirements:

• Must have minimum 12 years of work experience in medium/large sized brownfield and/or greenfield projects in the Upstream Oil and Gas / Wind energy sector and possess a good understanding of project phases, milestones, deliverables, internal and external interfaces.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Other skills:

• Prepared electrical philosophies and specifications for electrical systems for concept, FEED, and detail engineering projects as necessary.
• Experience in electrical power system design and handling of power system studies.
• Dimensioning and calculation of electrical networks (High and Low voltage).
• Prepare Technical Requisitions for electrical packages like High and Low voltage switchgear, Transformers, Bulk materials etc.
• Input and Follow up of vendor documentation.
• Participate during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)/Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
• Perform electrical calculations like cable sizing, lighting and heat tracing using relevant software’s.
• Client liaison regarding technical clarifications and queries.
• Co-ordinate electrical design within own discipline and on a multidiscipline level.
• Administration of tags in EIS (set up, define control objects, link to activity, data input etc.).
• Cable administration in relevant database like cabSys, AVEVA.
• Familiarity with Equinor systems (STID, STID TAG, procosys, Stidele, cable routing, SAP) will be a distinct advantage.
• Produce new and revise existing documentation and drawings in accordance with project document schedule.
• Assist in preparation of bulk material MTO.

The title holder will be part of a team that design, test and commission the electrical control systems for ACMV/HVAC systems in buildings. The candidate will work with other internal engineering teams to ensure that the control system meets overall project objectives and goals.

Specific job responsibilities:

• Assist in electrical design and control drafting for tenders and projects
• Implement automation system controls for building M&E system (ACMV) using PLC based hardware and software to connect various automation components as per system design
• Work closely with internal teams such as mechanical design and project engineers to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions to solve engineering problems
• Review specifications and standard practices for projects and tenders
• Maintain ACMV automation control systems to ensure optimal operating conditions through equipment lifespan

To excel in this job, the candidate will require a high level of organization, creativity, attention to detail, and engineering knowledge to successfully perform design, engineering, and field start up tasks for System Integration in Electrical Controls for building M&E systems.

Minimum job requirements:
