What you will be doing

• Involve in all phases of equipment implementation, including on-site installation, testing and commissioning.
• On-site maintenance and servicing, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment equipment.
• Prepare necessary documents for system installation (MOS and RA)
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Analyse mechanical processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with clients and the engineering team on technical details.
• Ensure compliance with site safety, cleanliness, and proper work procedures.
• Coordinate with clients for delivery site preparation.
• Manage equipment transportation from factory to customer site.
• Data collection, report compilation, and stakeholder updates.
• Prepare on-site PTW as per client requirement.
• Able to work in construction sites, rooftops, confined spaces and work at height.
• Monitor, supervise and manage on-site contractors.
• Provide training to operators.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with 2 - 3 years of experience or:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3 - 5 years of experience.
• Water treatment-related experience is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel overseas for site installation and commissioning works (occasional)
• Able to perform hands-on tasks on-site.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Class 3 driving licence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, executing, and coordinating construction tasks according to the master and detailed work schedules.
• Prepare and submit essential project documents such as timelines, method statements, design plans, risk evaluations, and monthly updates.
• Oversee construction work to ensure it adheres to contract terms, drawings, quality standards, and Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) guidelines.
• Collaborate with Clients, Authorities, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers on all aspects of the project, providing solutions and ensuring proper documentation.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants for site inspections, submit technical reports, and maintain accurate site records. Assist the QS department in reviewing contractor claims and progress payments.
• Attend meetings with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors to monitor project timelines and ensure progress is on track.
• Maintain an organized document control system, reviewing detailed design drawings and project specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineer Board.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the construction and infrastructure industry.

Job Description:

· The position will be stationed in HQ to support the tender submission.

· Review Tender specifications and drawings.

· Prepare the Programme/critical parth/MP Histogram/S Curves etc for tender submission.

· Prepare the programme narrative

· Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment and prepare the resources related tender submission.

· Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project timelines and deliverables and develop the mitigate measures.

Preparation of tender presentation slides related programme.

Job Requirement:

• PEB Recognised Degree in related field.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in development of project schedules by using Primavera P6.
• Experience in the use of Primavera and Microsoft Project.
• Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines
• Good knowledge of construction in building, civil and infrastructure construction sequence
• Possess strong initiative, and ability to work independently and within team environment.
