Job description:

• Responsible to develop and review electrical design plans, specifications, and construction documents for the project.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to the electrical design team, ensuring that electrical systems are designed and installed according to project standards and codes.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that electrical systems are integrated correctly into the building design.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs related to electrical systems and equipment and provide timely feedback to the design team.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that electrical systems are installed correctly and according to the design plans and specifications.
• Manage the commissioning and start-up of electrical systems and equipment, including testing and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support to the construction team, including addressing technical issues, resolving conflicts, and managing change orders related to electrical systems.

Job requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
• At least 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on construction projects. Candidate with less experience will be considered for a junior role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and other related system.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Software Development

1. Design, Develop and Maintain device drivers for Windows Operating Systems

2. Undertake WHQL testing and certification of drivers and device frameworks.

3. Design, Develop and Maintain User Libraries and DLLs.

4. Participate in all phases of SDLC and prepare corresponding documentation

5. Undertake porting and maintenance of existing drivers to new frameworks and OS’s

Knowledge and skill requirements:

Good to have Skills:

Jason Marine Group Limited is a Marine Communication Equipment and Service Provider based in Singapore, providing marine electronic equipment and marine communication integration solutions for offshore vessels arriving in Singapore or around the Asia region.

We are looking for a dedicated Service Technician/ Engineer (Marine) to be responsible for repair and maintenance of ship Navigation, Communication, Satcom, VSAT/TVRO, PAGA/PABX and GMDSS system. Reporting to the Head of Marine Electronics, and working closely with our business partners, he/she will be involved in the installation and testing of navigation and communications equipment on shipping vessels.

Responsibilities

• Involve in project for installation of marine electronics equipment.
• Liaise/co-ordinate with shipyard for related project.
• Assist in the repair works in the workshop.
• Brief business partners on various navigational/communication system setup.
• Provide technical support for business partners.
• Prepare reports on equipment to business partners.
