Job Scope

• Analyze project requirements and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
• Design high precision and high-tech automation equipment, ensuring that it meets performance, quality, and reliability standards.
• Select components such as servo axes and robots based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with fabrication houses and component suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and components.
• Guide assembly technicians in building and testing the equipment, ensuring that it meets design specifications and performance requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement of our products.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in mechanical engineering and automation technology.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or related disciplines
• 4 - 6 years of relevant experiences in automation equipment design
• Experience in factory automation / electrical, pneumatic, and sensor component selections is an advantage
• Proficient in SolidWorks 3D software

JOB SCOPE
1.0 Design, test, debug and commission the company’s product, which include jigs and
fixtures, customized semi and fully automatic machines.
2.0 Attend meetings with customers to discuss on their requirements in new projects
and/or project proposals.
3.0 Research and develop new ideas and concept to enhance company’s performance and
competitiveness in the field of industrial automation.

Requirements
1.0 Minimum ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2.0 Minimum two years experience in customized Automation Machine Design.
3.0 Experience in customized semi-con/ connector/ machine design preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Drive design specifications & support for the design proposal.
• Detailed design for precision customize automation equipment.
• Generate detailed 3D/2D CAD drawing with Autodesk Inventor
• Generate and release of a full set of design documentation.
• Perform tolerance stack-up and analyses on design parameters
• Work with internal on DFM, generate assembly processes and qualification procedures including documentation.
• Hands-on prototype assembly, testing, and qualification inclusive of troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the project timeline and budget adheres to and all design requirements are specified and delivered.
• Source, evaluate, procure mechanical & process components.
• Implementation of documentation control and database system.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in designing automation equipment
• Familiar with pneumatics and motion components
• Experience in Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly
• Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Must be proficient in 3D cad preferably Autodesk Inventor.
