Data Engineering Lead (Permanent)

Responsibilities

• To oversee data projects, operations and initiatives in the GCI region in both Commercial and Medical areas
• To be able to support and partner in country data operations and engineering leads, specifically China, Japan & Canada
• Able to oversee analytics operations in the region in alignment with global data operations/engineering teams
• Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting, able to build/contribute to building systems to efficiently ingest and transform data into meaningful insights
• Able to lead/participate technical discussion forums with global, regional and country counterparts; Oversee region data security and compliance
• Vendor management, measure, improve and control for any existing/ new strategic partners support all data work

Requirement

• Degree with relevant technology field with at least 10 years of established experience in a technology role
• Proven data management and data tools build capability (MSFT Power Platform)
• Knowledge of AI/ML, Gen AI
• Strong stakeholder’s engagement and management skills are important to work across all cross functional teams

Responsbilities

1. BIM Project Planning and Implementation

- Develop and implement BIM execution plans for each project.

- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure BIM standards are met.

- Identify project-specific BIM uses and requirements.

2. Model Creation and Management

- Oversee the creation of detailed BIM models in accordance with the firm’s standards and project specifications.

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models at every stage of the project.

- Manage model integration and coordination between various disciplines to identify and solve clashes.

3. Simulation and Analysis

Conduct simulations using BIM models to test different scenarios and optimize project outcomes.

Perform analytics to assess project performance, sustainability, and efficiency.

Provide insights and recommendations based on model analysis to improve project design and execution.

4. Workflow and Process Optimization

Guide contractors and project teams in adopting virtual design and construction (VDC) workflows.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and integrate new technologies to enhance efficiency and innovation in project delivery.

Train team members on BIM tools and methodologies.

5. Collaboration and Communication

Facilitate communication among project stakeholders through BIM coordination meetings.

Ensure that all parties have access to current models and documentation.

Liaise with external partners, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.

6. Quality Control and Standards Compliance

Monitor BIM model quality and ensure compliance with Singapore’s building and construction standards.

Implement quality control procedures for BIM processes and deliverables.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to BIM and construction.

7. Documentation and Handover

Prepare and provide verified BIM models and documentation for project handovers.

Ensure that models and drawings meet all requirements for operations and maintenance.

Archive project data and models in accordance with company policies and project requirements.

• Develop in-dept familiarity with TA Work Processes, and Recommended Practices.
• Participate in TA Contracting Management activities including prepare bid packages, contracting strategy formulation, assembling acceptable bidders, technical/commercial bid evaluation and contractor management.
• Drive schedule reviews for critical operations and maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate risk assessments and mitigation implementation for high risk activities.
• Support MOC process for TA activities, including necessary temporary facilities, as required.
• Act as Focal point in TA plan-the-plan (Navitrack) tracking.
• Understand interfaces between TA Planning and other functions (projects, P&T, technical disciplines, operations, business essentials support, contractors etc), and facilitates communication between all work groups as appropriate.
• Organize and facilitate TA related workshops such as readiness reviews, scope challenge, cost/ financial reviews, team alignment, lookbacks etc.
• Organise review of TA related plans such as HSSE, Flawless Quality, Logistics, Pre-TA works etc.
• Perform as Secretary for Site TA core planning meeting.
• Deputise for TA Manager, as necessary.
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement (CI) program in TA.
• Function as a Block/Area Execution Team(AET) Leader for high complexity event, or act as Night Shift Lead during TA execution, or lead a Low complexity TA.
• Perform assigned tasks and initiatives by the line supervisor.
